This is what a typical days food is looking like for me at the moment. Right now I am implementing quite a few new methods all at the same time, such as ; daily intermittent fasting periods 'calorie hoarding' from 10pm-12pm '14 hour fast', two weekly reduced calorie days of just 1300kcals, and a moderate daily deficit of 500-1000kcal.
Why all this you may be thinking?? Well again there are many reasons why i am doing this right now; First of all I just want to lean off to a point where I am not not far away where I would compete at, then from here I am only looking for lean gains in the future.
The other main reason is I want my system to operate as efficiently as possible, this woud be a lengthy thing to explain fully but basically the more food we eat the more energy is needed from this to digest it. It's almost like a catch 22 situation, the more kcal consumed the bigger the ratio will be of wasted kcal for digestion. I really believe that there will be a sweet spot for everyone, where this ration of loss will be as small as possible, so this is what i'm trying to find for myself right now.
The last main reason is that fasting is the most powerful form of detoxifying the body. On top of this during these fasted periods the body can use it's energy to strengthen the immune system and replenish hormones, as it has nothing to do now it terms of using this energy for digestion.
So far it is defintely all working for me, i'm leaning of nicely and am starting to feel more and more inner strentgh and wellbeing.
These t meals here total around 2500kcal, 100g fats, 300g carbs and 150 pro. I day around because everyday there is quite alot of vaiation, but as long as I am nearish these kcal and macros I will be on track with everything.
All of this food is vegan/plant based, organic and cooked from fresh.
