Moritz (moz) Maschek  Sharing underwater moments and outdoor adventures. Currently travelling the northwest of Australia

Jim Jim falls was more of a trickle when we visited but the walk in was still absolutely breathtaking and the pool at the end just surreal. Swipe across to check out the colour of the water in the end pool, unfortunately I wasn’t able to capture the 200m vertical cliffs surrounding it!

To think this incredible 5m structure was built by a colony of tiny little ants is simply mind blowing! I’m not exactly the smallest person either, but this termite mound in Kakadu National Park made me feel like the tiny little ant 🐜

There’s not many places in the world where you’d associate hot springs with snorkelling. Welcome to Bitter springs’ in Mataranka. One of those truly unique places that certainly got us by surprise! We even got to swim with turtles, although very different turtles to the ones we are used to! Swipe across to check out @nicoleodonnell and her little friend 🐢

This golden tree snake scared the crap out of me when I stumbled across it. Fascination soon replaced my irrational fear and I was able to admire this beautiful slender non venomous snake

Hard earned million dollar views of Katherine gorge. As excited as we were about arriving in the NT, it was also a little bit sad leaving WA after 2 years. Places like this made the transition much easier!

As far as pools with a view go, it doesn't really get much better than this. The infinity pool at Lake Argyle caravan park is famous for a reason. The Kimberley colours really come to life at sunset or sunrise 🌅

The famous Emma George at Elquestro. After seeing a lot of photos of this beautiful spot it was great to finally see it for myself! It was even more breathtaking than I had imagined and much bigger too! The little human (me) really puts in into perspective

I've always wanted to see a frilled-neck lizard, a truly iconic species of northern Australia. Despite his best efforts to camouflage, I managed to spot him beside the road. He wouldn't give me the full threatening display, instead he ran off on his two hind legs like a frilly little dinosaur! #jajabinks

Taking a much earned dip with @nicoleodonnell at half way pool, Elquestro Gorge. This crystal clear pool on its own would be the main attraction anywhere else but here!

The beautiful Zebedee springs in Elquestro wilderness park. This place was absolutely stunning, crystal clear springs in a lush tropical forest. I wanna live here!u

Any excuse to take a photo of the troopy... but with a backdrop this good it would be rude not to! The bungle bungles certainly did not disappoint

Probably one of the most jaw dropping places we visited in the Kimberley. The famous Echidna chasm in Purnalulu National Park is truly spectacular. The sheer scale of the vertical walls is just insane, only a metre or two apart and reaching heights of 200 metres... photos really can't do it justice but you can get a sense of it by how tiny @nicoleodonnell is in the distance!
