Repost of this heart drawings because my love for you guys is real! πŸ™ŒπŸΌβ€οΈ Through the years you all have been supporting me through the times I can post youtube videos and drawings like crazy and the times I'm fairly silent on social media. I PROMISE, my lack of activity on here lately is because I'm working on some of the most AWESOME, exciting, career changing stuff. When I'm finally able to share what's been going on there's going to be so many new drawings you'll be like "okay Morgan, take it easy.. we understand you're excited πŸ™„" lol. So don't think for a second I'm not over here drawing my butt off every day! πŸ’ͺ🏼 Because I appreciate your support so much I'll be putting together another giveaway, I just haven't decided what exactly I'll be giving away yet. πŸ€”I'll keep you posted! I hope everyone has an awesome weekend! πŸ’•

A little close up of my glowing galactic girl! πŸ’–πŸ’• Can't wait to do more drawings that I've had stuck in my head for so long! πŸ’ƒ Also, on a unrelated note I decided to make a personal Instagram @morgandavidsonpersonal and I have idea what kind of stuff I'm going to post on there yet but I thought I'd just let you guys know it existed, lol. 😜

Think I'm pretty much done with this glowing galactic girl! πŸ’–βœ¨It started out as a black light portrait with glitter but the glitter turned into a galaxy on her lower half because I couldn't help myself lol πŸ™ŠIt's Prismacolor premier colored pencils, Prismacolor brush tipped markers, moltow acrylic paint pen and Prismacolor pastels on Canson colorline black paper! πŸ’• I might post a more final picture later! I hope everyone has a great weekend!! πŸ’ƒ #prismacolor @prismacolor

Here are some goofy and random drawings from when I was in high school! Lol It's so much fun looking back at when I was exploring mediums and what I really liked to do for the first time. Bottom right is an acrylic painting from when I was 14, bottom left is a graphite drawing from when I was 15, top left is a colored pencil drawing from when I was either 15 or 16 (my first fully colored pencil illustration) and the top right is a colored pencil drawing from when I was 17! I loved drawing portraits but I had no idea what my style was yet or how I wanted to use my love for drawing, now at 24 I'm so happy I've evolved into the artist I am today! I'm even more excited about what the future holds and how I can grow even more. πŸ’–πŸ’• Post your drawings from when you started drawing so we all can share our journey!! #drawingsthenandnow

It definitely feels like spring lately with all of the rain storms and flowers growing back! Here's a throwback to my Spring Girl colored pencil drawing in progress πŸ’–πŸŒ»
For my next post (while I can't post anything new) I was thinking about posting a drawing or two from high school! Maybe also do a few short Instagram videos with art supplies I use or quick techniques! What do you guys think? β˜ΊοΈπŸ’• I seriously can't wait until I can tell you all what I've been working on with Prismacolor, it's beyond exciting!! πŸ’ƒ

When I was going through some of my older work I found this work in progress shot of a colored pencil drawing I did a few years back, it's always fun to see how style evolves over the years! πŸ’–πŸ’• I can't wait until I'm free this summer to do a ton of new drawings and videos! My head is filled with so many ideas that I need to get on paper! πŸ’ͺ🏼 Also, I do aploligize for the lack of new work lately, but I know you'll all be really excited when you see what's been in the works with Prismacolor after everything's done! Wohooo! πŸ’ƒβ€οΈ I hope everyone has a great week! #prismacolor

Quick mixed media crystal sketch using Prismacolors watercolor pencils (my first time using them and they were SO amazing 😍) and premier pencils with a little gel pen on top! I might work on this one a little more when I get the chance πŸ’ͺ🏼 I hope everyone has an awesome weekend! πŸ’ƒπŸ’– @prismacolor

Since a lot of you wanted to see a sunflower or flower drawing and I'm currently getting over being sick I thought I'd repost this colored pencil drawing of my favorite flower! πŸ’–πŸŒ» Drawing flowers has always been my favorite! I'll definitely draw a few more soon to add to my collection! Also, after I finish the exciting projects I'm about to do for Prismacolor, I'll have time to do fun personal work again and I PROMISE I'll start posting YouTube tutorials! πŸ’•πŸ’ͺ🏼

Fun little colored pencil beetle drawing I did today! βœπŸΌπŸ’– I have some super exciting stuff in the making with Prismacolor right now so I apologize for not posting in a while! Whenever I have time free during these projects I'll do some more drawings like this to post! What would you guys like to see me draw?! Comment below! πŸŽ¨πŸ’ƒ
I hope everyone has a great week!! ❀️ #prismacolor

This new multiple video setting is awesome! It'll definitely make breaking down drawing videos easier! πŸ’ƒβœπŸΌ I used Prismacolor premier colored pencils and Prismacolor brush tip markers on Canson color line paper for this drawing. I always start with the face, blending my way out from the eyes in soft layers until my values are built up and the colored pencil is smooth. For the hair my trick is to lay down the darkest value with marker so my highlights lay effortlessly on top, then I go back on top with black colored pencil to section out strands and finish the hair texture. To add the final highlights and tiny frizzy hairs I spray a nice layer of final matte spray fixative between layers. After the fixative is dry I can go back on top to add those final details without a problem! πŸ’– Also, on a side note. Some really exciting stuff is potentially in the works with Prismacolor and I'm beyond excited!! I can't wait until I can share! β€πŸ’•πŸ™Š

Hi guys! First off I'm happy to finally announce the winners of my giveaway! Wohooo!! πŸ’ƒI picked at random because it would be impossible to choose otherwise. After reading through all the posts I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of people who not only entered but also how extremely supportive and kind everyone was. β€πŸ’• I'm so happy to be a part of this amazing artistic community filled with so much love and creativity.
So here it is!! 1️⃣st place! @milenadrawws
2️⃣nd place! @vasquejeff
3️⃣rd place! @artistiqfreak

DM me your addresses so I can get the goodies to you! πŸ’–πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ Also, this is a video of an oil rub drawing I did of my beautiful grandmother when she was around my age. I used very cheap oil paint that I rubbed into Strathmore Bristol smooth paper. I started with Q-tips to apply the oil in smaller areas and then rubbed it out with paper towels. I did this until the pigment wouldn't come up when I touched the paper. You can also go in with a kneaded eraser to pick up excess oil or to erase out highlights. After everything had a nice oil rub base I went in with colored pencils the next day for details! The benefits of using an oil rub base is a workable toned surface, ability to erase out highlights and being able to mix your own base colors. I'll have to do a full tutorial on YouTube!
I hope you all have an amazing week! πŸ˜˜πŸ’–πŸ™Š

Going to extend the giveaway until this Sunday! I'm out of town and decided it would be best to pick the winners and get the prizes to everyone when I'm home! Don't miss your chance to enter! (See last post for giveaway details)πŸ’–β˜Ί
Also since I've been in the mountains and snow this week I thought this winter girl WIP would be the perfect picture for this post. β„οΈπŸŒ¨πŸ’™
