Food log! I Iove sharing these with you because ONE it holds me accountable and TWO I want you to see just how easy this lifestyle is! I haven't had a single grain to eat all week (besides what's in my Shakeo) and I can honestly say I haven't even craved them because the fat is so satisfying! Dinner tonight was steak kabobs with a side of green beans topped with butter, a snack included bulletproof coffee, lunch was Shakeo blended with baby kale and berries with almond butter, and breakfast which was around 1:00pm due to intermittent fasting was eggs and Pesto chicken after the gym! Oh and I had a skinny margarita and a fat BOMB tonight! I'm feeling amazing and have so much more energy and focus! My goals are coming along and soon I am positive I will have the definition and strength I've always wanted! Haven't had a cheat all week (besides a little alcohol)! Today I had one of those days when I just felt like a bad mom. That voice in my head was telling me all the things I should be doing more of. But then tonight we were playing outside and Baylen asked if he could do a workout with me. 😍 Then Case asked if he could join in too. In that moment I was reminded that while I'm FAR from a perfect mom, I do have a few areas where I feel proud and excited that I'm setting a good example for them. I love that seeing momma working out is normal for them. I love that they know we don't workout to look a certain way, but so that we can be strong and take care of the bodies God has given us! Tonight, friends, stop beating yourself up over all the things you wish you were doing more of, and focus on celebrating the areas you ROCK at! None of us are perfect, but we're all doing the best we can and THAT'S what matters! YOU are an amazing mom! ❀️#realwomenconquer #motherhood

My FAVORITE part about the keto lifestyle is that I never feel deprived! πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ» Breakfast today was bacon and eggs, lunch was blackberries with almond butter and Shakeo, snacktime was bulletproof coffee, and dinner was chicken and garlic sautΓ©ed sugar snap peas! After dinner I took my workout to the front yard while the kids played and completed the hardest workout in the test group YET! Feeling strong and EXCITED to wake up tomorrow because I know I'm going to feel amazing! πŸ’ƒπŸΌ .

I'm pretty sure one of the biggest reasons God puts children in our lives is to give us a glimpse of what JOY truly is. Case finished up the school year before the other kids so today I got to spend the entire day with just him. Goodness this little boy knows how to make my heart forget everything tough in life and only think about what matters most. I think that's exactly what God is talking about when he says that He has filled our hearts with greater JOY. Because when we're in His presence we should feel the same way - PURE JOY. Anyone out there tonight who's struggling, take a minute and remember that at ANY moment, supernatural power and joy is available to you! All you need to do is run to the ONE who can heal the broken-hearted! You are loved! ❀️

Another day of high fat, moderate protein, low carb eating in the books! Breakfast was full fat Greek yogurt with blackberries and Shakeology blended with water, ice a serving a spinach and almond butter! Then in the afternoon I had bulletproof coffee (coffee + butter + coconut oil)! Then I hit up the gym and did a 45 minute strength from our newest fitness program, and then met Jake for dinner! We split brussel sprouts for an app, then I had a burger (no bun) with Gouda cheese and carmelized onions, and a side salad topped with thousand island dressing! As I was giving the kids a bath tonight I had a moment of panic. Where did my babies go?! 😩 As cliche as this sounds, it TRULY seems like yesterday when they were teeny tiny and I had to support their little heads in the tub to keep them from going under. They were 100% dependent upon me for EVERYTHING. I blinked and now they are fighting for their independence every moment of every day. They can do so much by themselves and each day they continue to do more. It's in these moments of realization that I remember these kids are not my own, but rather kids that God gave me to raise into men and women who love Him. It's a GOOD thing that they're growing, learning, and thriving. That's how its supposed to be! And so, on the days when I'm sad that they are growing up so fast, I will remain thankful for the moments with them, and for now I will cherish the fact that they all still fit in the bathtub together. 😊Thank you Jesus, for choosing me to be their mom!

WOW! The response from my post last night regarding the ketogenic diet has been HUGE! I am working on emailing all of you back, so thank you for your patience - I like to personalize all my emails specifically to your goals so it takes me a little while but I promise it will be worth the wait when you learn about how to incorporate this lifestyle that will change your LIFE!!! Here's a sample of what my day looks like food-wise! Dinner was steak rubbed with butter, and green beans topped with butter, and a glass of 🍷. Lunch was Shakeology and a salad with an olive oil based dressing. Breakfast was 4 slices of real bacon and 3 eggs fried in bacon grease. Highlights from our trip to Iowa! The weather wasn't ideal for Tulip Festival but we were still able to see the people we love, including our BRAND NEW niece, Collins!!!

Last summer I tried eating a high fat, moderate protein, low carb diet for a while. I loved it, and was in the best shape of my life. Slowly over the course of the fall months I went back to normal healthy eating, with no fat yogurt and normal healthy grains and carbs. I went on to gain weight back and haven't been feeling like myself since. In fact, if I'm being completely honest, when I was on our recent vacation I found myself so frustrated at my lack of results and how I felt in a swimsuit even though I'd been doing all the "right things." The picture on the left was taken 2 weeks ago, just after we got back. The picture on the right was taken last night. The only real difference between the two? That I'm eating MORE fat and less carbs! (PLUS the incredible workouts in our newest workout program!!!) I have decided to go all in with a ketogenic diet and my body is freaking LOVING IT! If you aren't familiar, the idea of a keto diet is that you are burning fat for fuel instead of glucose. Diets that are higher in carbohydrates, cause your body to produce glucose and insulin. Since the glucose is being used for your primary energy, your fats are not needed and therefore stored. By lowering the amount of carbs, your body is forced into a state called ketosis. During ketosis, we produce ketones, which are produced from the breakdown of fats in the liver. The end goal is to force your body into that metabolic state! I have been doing so much research and the benefits to eating more healthy fats are INCREDIBLE. I'm so excited about the results I'm getting and I've decided to include an introductory course into the ketogenic diet with my June 5th boot camp! I will help you discover if a ketogenic diet might work for you WHILE helping you to get FAST results for summer! I will also have the option for you to start this boot camp with a 3 day cleanse to get your booty READY to rock this lifestyle!
