Got a minute? I've got a story for you. Kinda sappy, so keep scrolling if mushy feel good stuffs is not your jam. 😉
When I knew I'd loose my nose to cancer, one of my biggest fears was that I wouldn't be able to sing again. Man, I prayed hard that wouldn't happen. Happily, 2 1/2 years later, I'm able to sing in a choir that's performing parts of Handel's Messiah for Easter. Being a part of this is a definite answer to my prayers. But there's a little bonus. The "I know God Lives and knows us each individually" part. I used to sing the alto solo of He Shall Feed His Flock during Christmas for a bunch of years as a teen. A song that I adore, but after growing up and moving on, it was a song I thought I'd never sing again.
Guys. This song was added into our Messiah lineup. You guys. Guess who'll be singing this for the performance. It's like the Lord himself sent me a little message. "I heard you from the beginning. Been here the whole time." Sometimes life is just perfect. ❤️
