Wheelbarrow, bucket, or trash can, Bailey’s nosey nose doesn’t discriminate.

After our lessons I like to take Bailey to the sand arena to roll. I can tell how much he enjoys itching his back. At the end of the video you see him doing his second favorite thing- smelling other horse’s poop. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I finally find the best spot in the arena to take pictures and this donkey decides all he wants is to keep is ears back and close his eyes. 🤦‍♀️

I can’t believe I took this photo on my phone!?!?📱 I can add the black background just by switching the lighting options. Which do you prefer? 💁‍♀️

A (very) small sigh of relief as firefighters have been able to increase their containment on all the fires burning in SoCal.
The Thomas fire remains the largest fire burning over 100k+ acres with containment at 15%. The Lilac fire in San Diego is currently at 20% containment. Evacuation sites are reporting an almost overwhelming amount of donations and volunteers.
They are currently asking for donations for human evacuees who left everything behind so they could save the horses first. If you have any questions on where to donate. Please feel free to DM me. - Isabelle

The video in this post is not what I want to be posting. I don’t want to be showing you horses running for their lives. I wish I was uploading a fun lesson video or Bailey making a silly face. But unfortunately this is the reality of what is going on in Southern California right now and it needs to be seen. Yesterday 300 horses at the San Luis Rey training facility in North County San Diego were let loose so they could run for their lives. While setting them loose was not the ideal option, it was the only one given the swiftness of the fire. And even for some, the option came too late. I hope that everyone reading this would be willing to purchase an Inferno Pin from the retailers tagged in the last photo. We need help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. -Isabelle

Give your horse an extra kiss today just because. ♥️

This is what it means to be part of a horse community. 🙌🐴 Please consider calling Damoor’s and sending items to evacuated horses and the people who have been selflessly taking care of them these last few days.

“Look for the helpers.” A 5th fire has broken out in Los Angeles county and despite the difficulty dealing with smoke and traffic I’m beyond proud to see that people are still offering to help either haul, handwalk, or stable those affected. If you can help in anyway either by hauling, stabling, or donations (water, hay, bedding, etc) I urge you to check in with the SoCal Equine Emergency Facebook page, I’ve put the link in my profile. *pictures are from Los Angeles Daily News.

Babe is really stepping up his lead changes and stride adjustments. Excited to see how we do at this weekend’s show. 🐴🏆

This guy makes me happy. 🐴
