June 7, 2008 was opening day for @mmyogajax It was my intention to build a business that was “high touch” offering skillful, compassionate instruction, a beautiful and clean facility, complimentary mats, freshly laundered towels and BOTTLED WATER. I’m proud of our high level of service but regretful of the many, many plastic bottles that moved through our yoga studio.
This week, we are celebrating ten years and are mostly plastic free. #plasticfree is tough. We can begin by eliminating single use plastic.
I welcome your insight as you mindfully move through the day tomorrow, June 5. Let us know where you see plastic that may have previously gone unnoticed. #passonplastic

Yin yoga is often misunderstood as being similar to restorative yoga. While postures are held for time in both practices, yin has a more active intention and is helpful to athletes as well as desk warriors
Yogis seeking more mobility and ease in advancing their physical practice will also benefit from a consistent Yin practice

A fun fact about our Teacher, Molly:
She earned her Doctorate in art history from the University of Chicago, and was a professor of Buddhist art history at the University of Hong Kong. She brings her vast knowledge and dedication to learning into her role as our Yin Yoga teacher. We are honored to have her as a part of our community. #yinyoga

Moving mindfully. Private prenatal session. 23 weeks and returning to her practice following 3 weeks of international travel. We’ve been documenting her weekly sessions well before pregnancy.
