I have a story to share with y'all - although you already know how the story ends.
There are times in life when you know your life is changing forever. On July 24th of 2014 as my plane took off and I slowly watched my hometown in Argentina disappear I knew my life was changing forever. And it did. I left a lot behind trusting God had a better plan for me. And He did. But it wasn't the plan that I thought was for me in the beginning.
Fast forward to 2017, when my lead asked me to travel to San Diego, California to work on the ship that I wrote software for. I said yes - but was really worried about what kind of environment it would be - focused on getting the job done and proving I had the technical knowledge and the confidence to be working on the ship. I had no idea God had so much more in store for me on that trip. On April 18th, my first day on board, I met @tracy.j.mendoza and we soon became best friends. We made each other laugh and made great memories in SD. But knowing I would have to leave in a few weeks I tried my very best not to get attached. That didn't work... As my plane left California, I knew in my heart that my life had changed forever. Tracy and I have talked every day since the day we met. We've been through a lot together, including the scariest night of my life. But that night only proved further that God had a plan for us. I slowly fell in love with his kind heart, his faith, and everything that makes him the man he is.
Three days ago, he traveled to Newport, surprised me and asked me to be his wife. Trace, every day with you in my life has been a blessing and I can't imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone sweeter, more loving nor more perfect for me 💓 •
