😍 mine. .
So. I was supposed to have this magical #waterbirth that I had been planning for months. I took a #hypnobirthing course (which I do swear by) so I would be mentally prepared (really get into my zen & shit) - this is my first, so I tried to do as much homework as I could when it came to the birthing process so I could have an idea on what to expect, like signs of labor etc.. That didn't quite work for me.. lol let me explain - I never knew when I was having contractions. (I know that sounds crazy.) - I went to see my midwife for my weekly checkup and she jumped back like "GIRL , you 3cm dilated. I was like "wtf I am??!" - I walked around like that for another week. Then one morning I just felt sorda uncomfortable, it was 7:30am and I was like maybe I need to change sleeping positions, so I did, & went back to sleep 😂 Apparently I was having contractions in my sleep! - Lost my plug at 11- water broke an hour later. - I wanted to labor at home as long as I could cause I didn't want to drive way to my birthing center and then get told to go back home 🤦 Welp.
- I tried to "time" my contractions and realized I couldn't & I wasn't getting that "break" you get between them & couldn't respond to questions lol. At that point we got ready to leave.
- We headed to the birthing center (which turned into an hour or so drive due to traffic & a damn storm.) The surges were doing what they were supposed to & I just let my body go to work & I got in my zen. .
- We pulled up in front of the birthing center, my BD hopped out the whip, hollered for help, opened the back door to help me out & he was like "omg a baby" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I had her in the backseat of my #Jeep. So yeah..I didn't even make it inside the birthing center.
Her name is Dia 🤗💕
She was born at 2:08pm
Can't believe she's
Now what I WASN'T prepared for was postpartum care 🤦. That's another story tho..
New meaning to #jeeplife 😂 #TheJeepBaby #jeepwrangler
