I'm nervous and excited!
Tomorrow I will begin horticulture classes to become a certified Master Gardener. I'll be trained in taxonomy, plant pathology, soil health, entomology, cultural growing requirements, sustainable gardening, and wildlife management. After that, I'll volunteer to educate my community and prep to represent my state in those fields.
It's a change of pace for me. A hobby that benefits my career in no way, but will expand me as a person and introduce me to people outside of my industry. I'm kinda shy and can come across as standoff-ish, I've been told. Okay, well that won't do. 💁🏼 So I'm gonna kick down a few walls and make the planet stronger in the process. 👩🏼🌾 🌼 #DearInstagramLoveTia
