These last few days I directed so much of my energy and focus towards our political climate that I was almost distracted by struggles I'm facing in my personal life. I came to realization that while this situation is fucked up on so many levels, I am still here. Regardless of who is president I am still here. And I will continue to be here. But today was also a good reminder that we are not alone. Folks all over this earth came together this morning and last night to reiterate the notion that this is NOT okay. That this is not acceptable and will not be normalized. That pussy grabs back. That when they go low we go high. We resist. We vocalize, mobilize and organize.
I saw a sign at the march today that said "This is not a moment. It is a movement." Continue to resist. Continue to focus on aspects of your life and community you can control. Continue to love radically. Continue to speak loudly.
America is Black, it is queer, it is migrant, it is trans, it is Muslim, it is female. We are here and will continue to be here. Deal with it. #insolidarity #fightlikeagirl #womensmarchla 💁🏽💁🏽💁🏽💁🏽💁🏽
