What are you working on?
.
I’m working on evolving a new piece of tech here at The Mill called the Cyclops which is hopefully going to revolutionize the way that computer based designs are visualized in AR. Very exciting stuff. I’m also working on my first iOS game called ‘Powerless’. it’s an interactive simulator game about what would happen if we ran out of electricity. You get to explore different characters in London and you’re assessed on your ability to survive by a pretty moody A.I called MAUDE. I’ve built it in Unity and it’s coming out on the App Store in August which is very exciting! Follow @narratio_studios 🕹

What are you reading / inspired by?
.
I just finished reading Blood Sweat and Pixels by Jason Schreier. It’s about all the video games that very nearly didn’t make it and their journey through production and development. I’m always inspired by any survival story; whether that’s professional, personal or physical. .
What latest gadget do you need / have bought or want to buy?
.
I’ve seen this new wearable device which is a really beautiful ring and it tracks your heartrate / sleep patterns. I’d really like one of those!

I’m working on a lot of things, but the most exciting event we are working on, is this year’s National Inclusion week at the end of September and Access:VFX month. .

Drake just dropped his Album Scorpion, so It is currently on repeat! .
What inspires you?

The person I was yesterday inspires me. I’m constantly growing - mentally, physically and spiritually, so I am always trying to be a better person than I was yesterday. God inspires me too.

What latest gadget do you need / have bought or want to buy?
.
I currently need to get some new wireless @beats headphones so I can listen to all my favourite songs whilst I work out, without worrying if I’m going to drop my phone. .

‘Mundania’ is a modern sci-fi exploring creativity and competitiveness in the age of social media and the need to build an authentic identity for ourselves online.

Alongside director Olivia Rose, Mill+ helped to create this memorable promo for Jorja Smith’s ‘Blue Lights’.
.
The carefully shot, monochromatic film is set in the singer’s hometown of Walsall and pays homage to the community she was brought up in. The portrait style of the spot allows viewers to focus on and connect with the characters portrayed as well as the profound lyrics of Smith’s song. The spot features other Midland heroes including Jaykae, Mike Skinner, Preditah and Benjamin Zephaniah.
