Happy International Women's Day!
If there is anything I want to achieve in this lifetime, it's to see these little ladies grow up to be strong, fearless, independent women, who trust fully in their own feminine intuition and who are not afraid to follow their own hearts. This is what I see our world needs most. Women who are ready to change the world for the better. Either on a very small, community based scale, or one that is larger.
But this is the conundrum I have. Raising such women takes A LOT of surrender on my part. Having them learn their own lessons, make their own mistakes, and always allowing them to express themselves in a way that feels true to them, is hard. As someone who's liked control of my immediate surroundings it's one of the toughest things I've done, and most likely continue to be. Many times I feel I'm failing them. But deep down I know there are no mistakes, and my perceived failings may one day been seen as a beautiful lesson to them.
Rise strong my girls. I have complete faith in you!
