We’ve been so lucky with the weather here in the UK this years. This is a once in every 15 years event! Here are some boats in the sky on a super still, warm evening.

When I was younger, our local pub was a place where the whole community came together. It's where I'd meet and catch up with friends, and hatch plans with my bandmates. Today is no different, except I now use the journey to my local as an excuse to savour the countryside, taking photographs as I go… it's all part of the experience. I often think, the journey is as important as the destination! #LongLiveTheLocal @longlivelocal

This was a very flippantly taken shot... but for some reason I keep coming back to it. I like the juxtaposition of the fragile branches in the foreground with the softly focused village in the background.

I could easily spend a week shooting different corners of Venice. It’s a treasure trove of pictures waiting to be taken. #venice #italy

The wonderful colours and textures of Venice, Italy.

It’s been an amazing weather here in the UK for the last few weeks. This is a picture of my son Jonah making the most of it down at the beach.

I was lucky enough to spend some time in the Lake District, Cumbria this week. The weather was amazing all week. I took this shot looking south east from the bottom of Blencathra. #lakedistrict #cumbria

Sunset from the Trundle on the South Downs, England. Having used Instagram since day one, thought it was about time I gave you a little behind the scenes insight into how I think about creating my pictures, the location I visit and creativity in general. Learn more about the location of this photo and the thinking that went into creating it by watching the short film I made about it on my IGTV channel. Thanks! #photosofbritain 🙌

Once the kids are in bed and with these super long days, I get the chance to pop out and catch the sunset. I have a few favourite local spots I go to take photos. This was taken en route to one of those places.

Beautiful still evening and water like glass. #westsussex #bosham

From the city to the sea. I love spending time in the city but I also love coming back to the coast. #westsussex #bosham #englishcountryside
