Growing up on a farm my closest childhood friends were over a mile away. I remember always feeling isolated and lonely. I had to create my own fun. I remember grabbing my bucket and hammer and walking off to the furthest wooded area on my parents farm. In this tree-laden oasis there was an enchanting, mossy, shrub covered creek. I’d play there for hours, pretending I lived in the jungle swinging on vines and excavating rocks for fossils. Now I live in a city, and I love running away and finding my alone time every chance I‘m given. Always searching for the most secluded natural areas to create and find my center.

Where did you grow up? Do you have similar stories of childhood imagination & creation? -

In nature, we learn that being imperfect is what creates beauty. Looking at twisted vines... fallen, wet, mangled leaves and moss covered trees whose worn skin is textured and uneven shows me symmetry is overrated. Give me some crazy fd-up mess over clean and neat perfection. That's what shows me you're having fun and creating with uninhibited passion.

We traveled down a meandering forest path to this hidden beach an hour before sunset and could see the pink light reflecting in the water as the sun set in the distance. As I walked I felt the rough barnacles poke at my bare feet, and the fresh breeze vibrate against my bare skin. What’s more freeing than being one with nature, dancing and pretending as if I were a siren that had washed from the sea?

Never fear to be a creator and show your passion for whatever inspires you.

Don’t bother pinch zooming there’s nothing there 😂

While we were exploring Squamish, BC today I was paying close attention to all of the different kinds of trees. Some reach straight up to the sky in one line, others finger out over the river and have curved bases with massive root systems, while others are fallen giants covered in years of moss and fungi. It made me wonder about the purpose each tree has and why they vary so much. For a second I thought I’d love to study Dendrology but then I was reminded by @keatonhanson that it would require a lot of reading...

For some reason when I'm hiking in fifty-degree weather I catch a chill but as soon as I take off my clothes to create my art I'm perfectly comfortable.

I had lunch with my friend Melissa @monkeyallenmo yesterday and we were discussing body image and the messages we are constantly being shown that effect it. Many of us have these mental pictures that have been driven into our heads throughout our lives about “what we should look like.” However through the years what I thought was my “ideal” self has changed vastly.
_

She said something to me that I completely related to: “When I was younger I was concerned about what my body looked like. Now that I’ve gotten older I’m more interested in what my body is capable of.” I was like “wow, yes!!"
_

Growing older makes us realize how important our bodies and health are. Trying new things and exploring our potential is what keeps us feeling alive. If you are healthy and capable, think about exploring more of what your body can do, and caring less about the visual aesthetics. By pursuing life with a playful energy, your mind will find all the beauty you need inside!

A few years ago I was driving through Colorado and looked out into the distance and saw a waterfall coming off the side of a mountain, and I said "I want to see ALL of the waterfalls!" Four years later I haven't seen ALL of the waterfalls but I have seen and swam in over, at least, 120 of them around the world. I have traveled to lands with a multitude of waterfalls, such as Austria, Iceland, Oregon, California, and Jamaica. Next week, I will be traveling to Seattle and Vancouver to immerse myself in even more natural wonders!

I'm a big believer in manifesting what your life becomes, and creating the world you want to live in. So, I'm always careful to think about the mental energy I put into things because this can work not only in positive ways but also in negative ones.

We all occasionally go down those rabbit holes of anxiety.. but trying to be aware of when this happens, can help you see what's going on, and turn those thoughts around. This takes work & practice, but we are all strong and have the capacity to make this happen -

As an artist, I'm always looking to create something new and different that excites and inspires ME. Forever trying to push the limits and share who I truly am. I haven't been posting as much here on Instagram because truthfully, I get a little bored with what is acceptable to post here. Even though I like to shock people a bit, my goal is not to offend or make anyone uncomfortable.
_
I have however been creating and posting like crazy to my personal website (link in bio) and my other instagram with my amazing friend @Kelelah - @audriasana. The art we share there on our personal pages brings a whole new creative dimension to our work. We'd love for you to follow us and see what we‘re about. It's not just videos and photography but also our voice and teachings on bringing out your sensuality and creativity.

ALL of my favorite memories (aside from my son’s birth) were created out in nature. As a child I’d trek into the woods, on my parent's farm, to be alone and create my imaginary life of a forest dweller. My whole life I've spent every moment I could exploring nature and feeling its energy. The outdoors bring me to life and provides me with constant inspiration.

Thank you, Earth for everything you provide to us. . #earthday

I think this is the biggest compliment I have ever received. to have Syuzanna @paradiseart_4u this incredibly talented artist use my images in her art makes my heart so happy. The process of creating is so inspiring and challenging, it’s an honor to be featured in the artwork of such a talented soul.

I also appreciate my breast enhancements on the last image!

What’s that saying...When one window closes another one opens? Why can’t they both stay open and I’ll just climb back and fourth between the two?
_
Photos by @keatonhanson who lectured me about not hanging too far out the window or the shoot would be CANCELED!

The other day I had someone tell me they followed me because I’m just a "normal person."— "You're a mother, charismatic and creative, who enjoys cycling and yoga, and runs her own business... Yet, you're not shy about being nude. It's very refreshing…” _
I LOVE this comment!
I am a “normal person” well a normal-quirky person HAHA. I don't think I'm any more special than anyone else. And truthfully I haven’t always been an art nudist. I've never been shy about being nude, but I was for sure apprehensive (at first) about being nude online.
_
I don't expect everyone to be comfortable with me being me. Or comfortable with nudity. I also realize everyone has their truths and I completely respect and admire that.
_
The more I realized there is nothing wrong with being naked, sensual and unapologetically sharing who I was, the freer I've felt. I believe this also comes with age and yoga and just saying fuck it...this is fun and beautiful, and I'm not hurting anyone.
_
I'd love for you to tell me something that makes you happy and gives you joy!
