By introducing these three exercises into your routine, and mixing up the grips used, you’ll be getting a full back workout.

High volume works best for me - I do 4 sets on each exercise. I choose not to count reps but I know it’s 12+ reps.

Anna found she was suffering from some lower back pain this morning while training legsπŸ˜’

This is a lot more common than people might think. There are a lot of different muscle groups connected to the lower back, and when one of those muscles is tight it can pull on the lower back and cause pain. This can be caused by something as small as spending a lot of the day sitting down at work.

To combat this we foamed rolled her glutes and hamstrings after her session today, something we need to start doing more often to improve muscle tightness and flexibility πŸ‘πŸ»

It will involve a bootcamp, raffle and coffee morning here at the Fitness Rooms.

As some of our current members know we sadly lost a vital part of the Fitness Rooms team in 2016. Scott was an instrumental part in making the bootcamps and the Gym what it is today.

Last year we also held a bootcamp to raise money for his 2 young kids, this year we aim to repeat this and raise even more with your help.

All we ask on the day is that you donate a minimum of Β£1 to the fund. Anyone who wishes to bring cakes for the coffee morning please do so and any donations for raffle prizes will be greatly appreciated.
