Equity: something we should all strive towards. Something that some people don't seem to get is that if everyone was treated the same, society would fall apart, because not all things work the same for all people. Just because it works for 3/5 of people, doesn't mean that it'll "work& #34; for the rest. Say the way a teacher taught a class was to cater towards the fast learning students, witch make up 3/5 of the class, how is that fair for the 2/5 of the ones who are left out. The teacher needs to make the lesson work for the class as a hole, even if it takes longer. "Slow and steady wins the race." Then there's the argument on equal pay, when it should be an argument on how none who needs the money can get the money. I should here on the news about some American based charity helping some homeless kids in another country if there are homeless kids down the street from... everywhere! I may be exaggerating that a bit but my point is still there. Stop bickering about how you don't get paid enough because you're a women, or how the minimum wage isn't high enough when we should be asking why we don't have no people looking out for those who only have dirt in their pockets. I'm absolutely disgusted. The fact that I live in a world were stereotypes are taken more seriously than actual threats, or that people are to ignorant to see past the color of someone's skin, see past the God(s) they worship, if any at all, or to see past the way they talk, walk, and dress. Then why am I still here? I want to go to mars! Or like another dimension! But I'm stuck here with you lot. And I'll be damed if I don't try to make a difference, it might start with one little post on an Instagram account, but it'll never stop there because we have the ability to go out and do something, and that means we all have a chance to turn our words of disapproval and our unending need for justice into action. That is what I want my generation to be remembered for. The generation that turned the years of silent words on the internet into the loud actions that changed the world!

Again, why does this reflect me so perfectly?!

I had an amazing time last night with this amazing person at homecoming.

Just spent some time with my grandma reminiscing about when her and my late grandfather were together. It's been 10 years since he passed after a long battle with leukemia. He was a tough man with many endearing qualities. I just wish I could have more time to get to know him a little more. The way he made and still makes my grandma smile is just absolutely amazing. Of all the stories I've heard, I'm just glad that they had many joyful years together. From the day they met they only got happier. I'm just glad that there is so much to tell about him so at least I have the chance to know him. We all miss you Linden, and your county thanks you for your service.
