Persiana is a cookbook I come back to over and over again for inspiration or just the straight up recipe as everything by @sabrinaghayour is delicious ๐Ÿ‘… This is a perfect veggie summer dish and an easy one, I often have a couple of aubergines lying around that I forget to use ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ† ๐Ÿ˜‚ anyone else or just me? Panella London is our favourite Cafe in West london, actually more like a proper workmanโ€™s canteen, itโ€™s run by a very animated and vocal Italian husband and wife team, Giuseppe and Caterina Di Matteo. Always laughing and sometimes arguing its like walking into a family kitchen, there is never a dull moment. Originally from Palermo, they make delicious home made Sicilian dishes using organic produce that changes each day. As part of the north London community Giuseppe and Caterina also run a Peopleโ€™s Kitchen with produce donated by the near by Queenโ€™s Park farmers market. The event is free and provides an important space for people to come together over food that has been cooked with love. They are always looking for volunteers and extra hands in the kitchen if your interested get in touch info@panellalondon.co.uk. Not only a community cafe, Goldfinger HQ, which is on the ground floor of the iconic Trellick tower, houses a woodworking workshop, furniture showroom and teaching academy encouraging people from the local communities to thrive using craftsmanship and design.
