I have a bad case of RBF, sometimes I don’t even realize it! But when it gets brought to my attention I realize it’s something I that I need to work on. According to psychology even a forced smile reduces stress, this sends a positive message internally and externally. .

This photo is motivation for me because here is the “pretty picture”, the final product. What most don’t see is the failures we all go through before posting the pretty glamorized photos.

I didn’t post the photo 2 days before I was crying my eyes out. I was 2 seconds away from giving up and calling it quits. I want to be 100% honest, the process isn’t easy, I struggle all the time, I have doubts, and I have fears, but, this is where courage comes in. This is where I had to make the choice to overcome my fear and doubt whether I knew the outcome or not. I still give all my effort in hopes that I would still succeed. .
I also remind myself “even if you don’t succeed the first time, you keep trying until you do” and I apply this to all aspects of my life, not just competing. #mondaymotivation #ambitiousfitness #musclecontest #bikiniprep #faithfulness

The first step in loving someone else, is loving yourself first. Self love, to me, means that I have morals and values that I live by, being true to myself and having self respect. Taking care of my mind, body, and spirit. Striving my best to live my life the right way.

By loving myself I am also able to love others. When I am content with myself this easily pours onto those around me. We may not always know what other people are struggling with , you never know, saying something nice or starting a conversation with someone could make their day. I’ve come to realize that you’ll feel a lot more satisfied with life when you give more than you receive. The more you give also will flow back to you regardless.

Focus on your vision. Live life with intent and purpose. If you don’t know what your purpose is, find out how you can use your life to make someone else’s life better. .
The first step is loving yourself. Healthy mind, healthy life.

You want to build muscles ? You need protein. You want to lose weight ? You need protein. You want to get “tone” ? You need protein. Whatever your goal is , protein is essential! You can get this nutrient through different sources, but most of us aren’t getting enough in our regular diet. A recommendation to meet protein needs would be to eat 4-6x a day making sure each meal has enough protein AT LEAST 25g each meal. The fastest easiest source of protein is a protein shake which I usually will take in the morning, post work out , or as a snack to curb cravings @impulse_nutrition @train_with_ambitiousfitness @ambitiousfitness_apparel

I’m looking forward to so many things coming next year! This is going to be my longest prep but I’m ready and fully committed to do what I need to in order to bring my best package than ever before. Obviously with added carbs and calories some weight gain can’t be avoided during this stage, But I’m learning to love myself regardless if I’m 105 or 115. I’m also learning not to be afraid of eating carbs! They are extremely important for muscle growth and energy ! Buts it’s very important to eat the right kind of carbs, at the right Time, with the proper portion! At the end of the day Bodybuilding is a process and it’s important to embrace each stage, whether it’s cutting or growing both have its perks. It’s about making the most out of every situation. .

Allow your biggest obstacle to be your biggest opportunity. Failure is only success in progress.

Although A competition diet and workout program are a bit extreme for an average person looking to get in shape, it is an experience I recommend. I recommend that everyone finds something that interests them or they are passionate about, and go for it, go all out. Whatever it is. Yes it may be intimidating at first and yes you may mess up and yes you may look silly. That’s a part of growing and learning. When your in situations where you are uncomfortable you are putting yourself in a situation for growth. .
.
Let me tell you, I’ve come a long way from where I used to be, but it’s been a long process and there has been many obstacles along the way. If I would have given up every time things were hard I wouldn’t be where I am today. I still have a long way to go but I can say that I am extremely blessed, but I have also worked to earn everything I have. .
.
But It doesn’t matter where you start as long as you don’t stop, I wasn’t a naturally thin girl, growing up I always struggled with my weight. I wasn’t always the smartest either, I have always had to study really hard in order to understand most concepts, but looking back at my growing process makes me happy to realize how much I’ve changed for the better. .
.
I remember my first prep how hard it was for me to stick to my diet, and stepping on stage I froze like a dear in a headlight. Second show I didn’t cheat but I still felt extremely nervous walking on stage. My last competition I knew what I was getting myself into, I practiced what I needed to and I followed everything I needed to follow. Now I only look to improve each time, as long as I know I gave it my all. Not to mention the discipline that it takes to go through a prep I have applied to all aspects of my life. Most importantly I have learned if you want it badly whatever it is you are perusing, you won’t allow anything to stand in your way. No excuse, no obstacle. You just find a way to make it work, and there’s always a way.
