We have a digestive system for a reason. You don’t get micronutrients from something that comes out of a wrapper or a scooper.

Shoot for at least 2 meals a day of real food if you’re living on shakes and bars. Then work your way up.

I had this conversation with a new online coaching client this morning- I asked if he took any supps, and he said he used to but got sick of swallowing so many pills.
I totally get it.

Yes, they can be useful especially the fish oils as it’s very tough for people to get in enough Omega 3’s to balance out the inflammatory Omega 6’s.
#
But if you are on a regimen of supplements and come off it because your first meal basically consists of pills- try taking the weekends off. It’s ok. You won’t spontaneously combust.
#
In fact, your receptor sites may breathe a bit and your supplements may be more effective during the week. Try it out, you won’t feel any different 😃
