3 days under the Tuscan Sun- Florence, Siena and Pisa. I am leaving for Cinque Terre tomorrow and a part of my heart will belong to Tuscany.
I've fallen in love with this lovely region.
It's a whole different vibe here. Friendly faces, smiling locals and an unspoken serenity.
Florence is my favourite so far. The architure of the buildings and street structures are really something. I walked up to the Piazzale Michelangelo to see a bird's eye view of Florence and it took my breath away.
Did you know that historic centre of Siena has been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site? I've been really blessed to see so many UNESCO sites in the past 4 weeks of my Europe tour. Cinque Terre is also a UNESCO World heritage site!

Siena's medieval cityscape is just too damn cute. I was ooo-ing and aaah-ing at the architure of the buildings.

My Tuscan adventure ended in Pisa with the Leaning Tower. As overrated as it may be to some, this beautiful marble structure is really stunning and majestic in real life. The Piazza dei Miracoli and Pisa Cathedral did not disappoint as well. I've had the most perfect time in Tuscany since I arrived more than a week ago, starting in Rome.
Excited about Cinque Terre as well, and then off to Venice and Verona before I head to another country, Austria.

I'm off to Tuscany now- Florence, Siena and Pisa.
Here are some great sights I went to in Rome in the last 6 days.
Presenting the Colosseum!
A place that was once able to hold 50 000 people. A beautiful monument with a gory past. The exhibitions of exotic animals, executions of prisoners, recreation battles and gladiator fights kept the people entertained for years. The Colosseum remained active for over 500 years. Imagine that! Wow.The last recorded games in history were celebrated a long time ago in the 6th century.. I bought 2 tickets to the Colosseum- one at night and one in the day. The night tour was very exclusive and only 100 people were allowed into the Colosseum as compared to 3000 during the day. During the night tour, I had excess to areas not opened to the public during the day like the under ground tunnels where the animals, hunters, prisoners and gladiators were kept before being brought up to the arena for fights/ battles. It was pretty damn awesome. Of course it also costs me 3 times the amount of a day ticket but it is totally worth the experience.

I also visited the Roman Forums and half way through the Palatine Hills, it started raining so heavily I had to leave. I was drench from bottom half but it could have been worse if I did not bring a brolly so thank God I had one with me. 🙏🏾🤗 Took a day to explore the Vatican City. Saw the Sistine chapel which contains the famous celing artwork of Michelangelo. Photography is forbidden in there as it is a holy place in the Vatican church. The Vatican museum was beautiful but as it was crazy crowded and stuffy, I felt faint and decided to leave early. It was a very different environment from the Louvre in Paris when I was there last week. Nonetheless, it is beautiful in its own rights.
The Trevi Foundation was gorgeous even though it was insanely crowded. Haha. I still wanted to see it real life as I first saw it in the movie La Dolce Vita and later in Under the Tuscan Sun ( fav movie )
Took 2 days off and spent it at a private beach in Ostia. I also got 1 workout in this week. Lol 🤷🏾‍♀️💪🏾
Looking forward to happy days. 💗 #Italy

Buongiorno from Rome!

It's official. I am bad at using selfie sticks. I really don't know how people use the selfie stick so well! 🤷🏾‍♀️
Well, so let this be an imperfect photo on an imperfect beach because life is imperfect.
Taking it easy today here in #rome . Just chilling at #ostia beach, reading and enjoying the sound of the clashing waves.
I want to be honest about something and that is ever since I've embarked on this euro trip more than 3 weeks ago, I still wake up every morning... wondering if I have become fat. I'm not trying to offend anyone here. It's just how I really feel as you can tell from my storyline.. I've been eating my way through Europe.. from Greece to Spain to France and now Italy.. i still have Austria and Germany and will be traveling till almost end Oct.
Don't misunderstand me. I am very thankful that I am finally on this vacation. But as someone who has always been following a routine, it takes a lot of adjustment for me to let go. I am enjoying all the yummy food I've been eating! Every country I've been to so far has amazing cuisine!
Just had to get my thoughts off my chest so you'll know I am as human as everyone else, with real feelings and struggles.
Can't wait to see the Colosseum tonight! I bought 2 tickets -one for day and another for night.. but the night one is a private tour and has limited capacity. Some areas are also not opened to the public in the day visits .. It's gonna be awesome!

Paris Je t'aime. 😍
Wow ! How did time just fly by!? My one week in Paris is up. Heading to the airport now to catch a flight to Italy, Rome.
My last couple of days here were pretty awesome.
Ate way too many croissants and baguettes...
☀️ Suntan at a park in my bikini .. 😂😂😂 because YOLO (?) ...thank God it wasn't illegal.. spent a day at the Palace of Versailles , visited the once home, now museum of Victor Hugo, writer of Les Misérables and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame and met the nicest people at @gigagymparis13 .
Also got my ass kicked at an arm workout with @superfehd ( even though I'm bigger and stronger. 😉) .
The Palace of Versailles was seriously incredible. The gardens was my favourite part. Beautiful cannot even be used to describe the experience. It was surreal. It's also the 2nd most visited monument in France after the Lourve and before the Eiffel Tower.
Every day, I wake up feeling grateful that I am on this Europe trip. #thankful.

Next stop Italy. Au revoir Paris. You were amazing. 😍💗

This photo was taken exactly 1 year ago. I was spending my summer in one of my favourite cities, #losangeles, competing in the #superleaguelive in Vegas and attending the Olympia. #tbt #flashbackfriday

And this year, instead of dieting/ prepping for a contest, here I am, eating my way through Europe for 8 weeks. Funny how things change eh? This doesn't mean that I've given up #bodybuilding. Fitness will always be a part of my life. My love for bodybuilding didn't change, it's the seasons in my life that's constantly changing.
If you're following my travel adventures, you'll prob see that I have been indulging ( trying not to feel guilty lol) . I also try to find gyms in whichever country I travel to and have been walking an average of 20km everyday. It's one of the best way to discover a city .. and also to burn off all those delicious food I've been having. 😍

I feel like I'm in a place right now where I'm really happy and at peace with the choices I've made. I've also learnt a lot in the past 3 weeks that I've been traveling.. not just about the countries I'm seeing but mostly about myself. Learning how to stay calm in moments of crisis ( especially since I'm travelling solo), learning to accept that things won't always go the way I've planned and I need to adapt.. and most of all, learning that no matter where I am, God has gone ahead of me and in times of needs, He will make a way.
Thank you to all of you who have been following my journey regardless of whether I compete or not. I appreciate all of you. Merci beaucoup. Mucho gracias Efharisto poli. 💗

Bonjour from #paris! Spending a week in this charming city and I am loving all the little
quirks it has to offer.
First photo of me having THE famous hot chocolate from @angelina_paris. This decadent cup of goodness is derived from the traditional and famous African cocoa from Niger, Ghana and Ivory Coast. The combination of these different types of chocolate from different lands confers its exceptional taste and distinctive character upon Angelina's hot chocolate.
I posted vids and also their AMAZING foie gras salad on my storyline. Their signature Mont Blanc is to die for.
I visited 2 of the most famous monuments on my first day here- The Effiel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.
Saw the Iron lady in the night and also in the day. As you can see from the video, she is even more magnificent in the night. #eiffeltower
Spent a day at the Louvre museum which is the world's largest art museum and a historic monument in Paris. It was such an incredible experience and I met a super famous woman there - #monalisa *wink wink* . The Mona Lisa was painted by Italian Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci that has been described as "the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world.
You'll also find photos of the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in the the post. Spending a day at the Palace of Versailles tomorrow and I'm really excited.
The most French meal I had was at #lajacobine. Their escargot, French onion soup and duck leg confit was divine. I can't stop thinking about it. Haha.
So far I've been having a ball in these 3 weeks that I've been in Europe. I have another 5 weeks left. My next destination is Italy where I'll be spending 18 days.

My diet is totally NOT on point and I haven't been working out as much as I'd like to. A part of me feels a little uncomfortable because I like regime. But I am learning to adapt and improvise along the way. Besides, how often do I get to travel for such an extended period? Life is way too short to be bothered by the little things. I want to live in the moment. 💗 #Parisjetaime #parisianlife #parisian

#ootd for a night out in this romantic city.

It is impossible not to fall in love with #Barcelona! I can't believe I've already been here for 5 days. 2 more days left before I fly to Paris. I'm gonna be sad to leave.
Spent my day at a nude beach at Platja De Sant Sebastia. I was in a see through G string bikini but was the most over dressed. 😂 It was such a liberating experience to see people of all ages, shapes and sizes, perfectly comfortable in their skin. Some were eating pizzas, drinking beer while soaking up the sun. I must have been the odd ball out because men were trying to pick me up- the most dressed person on that beach. 🤣😂 Hit the La Rambla later in the evening. The La Rambla is a true Barcelona boulevard.
This 1.2km stretch of life was truly fascinating.
From Plaça de Catalunya to the Columbus monument, La Rambla changes at every step. Drink water at the Canaletes fountain, buy flowers, cross yourself in front of the Capuchins, eat in La Boqueria, be thrilled in the Liceu and end up right by the sea.
In just a short stretch, you have the entire essence of the city. How amazing is that?

Another reason to fall in love with this Catalonia region is the food! It is simply gorgeous. All types of amazing tapas , Jamón ibérico ( my fav!), pa amb tomàquet, croquetas, calamare.. 😍
This beautiful and enchanting city has captured my heart. The Spaniards are friendly and hospitable. Even the men who tried to pick me up here were all very polite and charming.
Definitely one of my favourite cities in the world. #spain

Hola from #Barcelona city beach!! I flew to this beautiful city from Greece and will be spending a week exploring.
So far I am LOVING this place!
In the last 4 days that I've been here, I've visited the Basilica de La Sagrada Familia and Park Güell where I was able to marvel at Antonio Gaudí's legendary work. This is a historical site and if you come to Barcelona and don't even pay a visit, it's a real shame.
La Sagrada Familia is one of Gaudí's most famous works in Barcelona. It's a giant Basilica that has been under construction since 1882 (that's not a typing error) and it's estimated to be completed in 2026 ( structural) and 2032 with decorations.

I took a day away from Barcelona and went to the Montserrat mountains in Valencia to hike.. made my way up to Sant Jeroni, the highest peak of the Montserrat. The view was breath taking and I was high enough to be in the clouds!
I can't post all my vids/ photos here but if you would like to see more photos, I have posted them on my FB at Sarah Wee with information on the diff destinations. #barcelonabeach #barcelona

The Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens. It contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance.

I'm standing in front of the Parthenon. The #parthenon is the most famous monument in the Acropolis of Athens . It is a former temple, dedicated to the goddess Athena, whom the people of Athens considered their patron.
The Acropolis is the one historical site you can't miss. The place opens at 8am and when I got here at 830am, it was swarming with tourist. But hey, I gotta remember I'm not the only person who wants to soak in the beauty of this archaeological site.
It can get very hot up there and even at 9am, I was dripping with perspiration. But it's totally worth it to be able to marvel at the beauty of this majestic historical site. #athens #greece #acropolis

I just had one of the best experience of my life! I climbed/ bouldered my way up the Meteora. So glad I decided to hire a guide to climb with me because I have no experience climbing cliffs and mountains. My guide took me to an even higher ground than where he normally takes others because he felt that I could manage the climb. Lolol. I bet he regretted it.
This is a MUST do if you visit the Meteroa.. provided you have no fear of heights as the climb is almost vertical.. plus it's a long way down if you fall. 😂🤭 Maybe I just don't know the technique to do this but I felt that I had to use strength and needed endurance to pull myself up certain rock formations.
I slipped at some points and banged up my body against the cliffs. Also had to swing from the rope to run along the vertical walls to get to one other side.. Also fell here and hit my sides against the rock wall. But hey, at least I am hanging from the rope. Not dead at the bottom. 😂 The whole experience is worth the pain. So freaking exciting and thrilling!
My body is already sore and I'm feeling muscles I've never felt before. More detailed photos and videos on my personal FB at Sarah Wee.

Chaírete from #Mykonos! What a beautiful island filled with stunning beaches, clear blue waters and golden sand. I am absolutely in love. 😍💗
At night, the town comes alive with the most beautiful people you can find. The white washed building and pink bougainvilleas add that unique touch that sets this beautiful greek island apart.

Chasing sunsets in Santorini. This island was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, which shapes its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, cubiform houses of its 2 principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera. They overlook the sea, small islands to the west and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.

I stood and soaked in the beauty of it all as I waited for the sun to set in Oia. Around me were beautiful couples in love and the whole atmosphere was very romantic. 😍 As I watched the sun begin to set, my heart was bursting with joy and peace at the same time. The beauty of the place was surreal and no photos or videos can do it justice.
