My last #melissamakesityellow post. I put this one off for a while because I didn't know how to end this month. I've enjoyed sharing my yellow adventures and meeting the many new people I have this month. But my fight isn't over just because #endometriosisawarenessmonth is, when I started feeling constant pain again in November I was ready for surgery number three and to just move on. I hoped for four more years pain free, and in that time maybe they'd find a cure. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. My ER trip in November showed multiple non cancerous tumors in my liver. These hepatic adenomas are caused by estrogen (specifically birth control) which was my main treatment for my #endometriosis . I was forced to stop the pills or risk a liver transplant. Within three months of stopping my birth control my pain increased, but my adenomas shrunk drastically. I'm in the clear for now, but will need to continue to have MRIs and see a hepatologist for the foreseeable future. .
But there are so many things that can keep us down, this won't break me. Us #endosisters will always stick together, through good and bad, through treatments successes and failures. Love to you all!! #endometriosisawareness #endometriosis #yellow #embroidery #dandelion ##nevergiveup #yellowflowers
