I'm learning to be patient with myself and my body.
I've realized that I may not be in my early 20's anymore, and that staying fit and healthy requires a bit more effort than usual - but some days I've had more runs with a spoon through the peanut butter jar, than actual running on the road, and somehow a creamy pasta has been more appealing to me this past winter than steamed veggies and chicken.
But with all that said, I know I dont have to go on a diet to stay in shape, I only need to make 1 healthier choice with every meal, and add just 1 extra push to my workouts, and realize 1 more time this body that I've been given, is the only one I'll ever have, and need to take care of her as best I can.
So I've decided on 3 attitudes to keep myself healthy:.
1. I will create healthy habits, not restrictions.
2. I will be healthy and work out because I love myself, and not because I hate by body.
3. I'm aiming for progress, not perfection!
After all, a healthy body houses a healthy mind.
