A year ago I shared with a friend that I wanted to start a podcast. He said “That’s great I think you should do it!” I said “But what would I talk about? Should I do interviews?” He said “Talk about whatever you’re passionate about”. So I got to thinking, and thinking and thinking 🤔
What am I passionate about?
After living in such a bubble for so many years I had so many questions I needed answered. I needed to talk to people who understood life a little better than I did.
My sister @stephaniecarcache and I have always had very deep conversations about life, money, relationships, God, career etc Then we realized something. We realized we couldn’t possibly be the only two people in the world talking about these topics in such a deep way. So it hit us we needed to start a company that focused on what we as millennial women are going through. Then we thought wouldn’t it be great to understand what our generation is going through city by city? Wouldn’t it be great if we could overcome these challenges together?! AND
What if we actually travel city by city and meet our fellow MWs in person and have an open floor conversation with a thought leader who we could learn from and record it as a podcast episode!
We paused stayed quite for at least a minute as I felt myself about to say “nah that can never happen” I instead said “that’s it! That’s what we have to do!” I’m not saying this has been easy, boy has this been the most challenging thing I’ve ever done but I have never felt more fulfilled and sure of anything in my life.
I hope you tune in to this weeks episode. We talk about failing forward and trusting your instincts with our MW Contributors Co founder of @weareonyx @shinechaia And @dayana_falcon_ our @wearemillennialwomen CMO.
I want to take this moment to also thank you for supporting us during throughout this journey. I have forever been changed by every single person I have met this year and I hope you enjoy our series. Link in bio to catch up on season 1.
