You know what!?! Today the creative juices are not flowing 😳 rather than sit in my office and force myself I decided to shut down, walk away, grab a blanket and cozy up with my @brendonburchard #highperformancehabits book and pour into my business development. Why!?! Because #1 personal development is key to success and #2 it’s better to spend 1 hour of focused energy on your business vs 8 hours of scrolling and somewhat productive activity. .
Give yourself a break and come back later. Refresh, give yourself grace and know that this is normal! Somedays I am in the zone and creative and other days not so much! 🤷‍♀️ But I don’t let it bother me!! I do the basics and keep on trucking!! 🚀 .

Week 2 is in the books of my 30 day elimination Test Group.
This week I personally added in a new level to my plan.
I completed the 50 hour sleep week challenge totaling 52.5 hours of sleep this week.
You know what’s amazing about this past week:
👉🏻I didn’t do a crash diet
👉🏻I didn’t starve myself 👉🏻I wasn’t tired, grumpy or foggy 👉🏻I exercised 6 days this week 👉🏻I have gone two weeks without dairy, grains, and alcohol and I am cool with it. 👉🏻I️ am not obsessed with food or the scale
& I learned a lot about my personality and I have been reflecting on how I want to lead my customers moving forward.
But I do feel like my calling is being made to “level up” 😳 we have a big problem in society! We follow a shiny object, we second guess our choices, we struggle to find balance and we are way more emotionally connected to food than we think.

✨Day 13 of the Elimination Plan & it’s cardio with weights today.
Sure it’s approaching the holiday season and of course I know there are lots of parties and fun stuff to do!! But I also know that I want to not be a Scrooge this year either. When I am obsessed with the scale, obsessed with my food, obsessed with a Dieter’s mentality I feel chained to the plan. 🔑 I don’t feel any of those feelings. What I do feel is in control, mindful, aware, clear minded, well rested, strong and in control of my choices. .
I can have the cake, the cocktails and all the apps at the party. But it’s mindfully becoming aware of what the consequences will be. If I eat this, there will be effects. Sometimes we choose to eat it anyways and sometimes we say we are going to pass. But the bottom line is that you are in control of your outcome. You can choose to let the diet control you or you can create a healthy lifestyle and habits that you control. .
When you create food freedom and a exercise plan then you create health which dominos to body confidence and self love 💓💓 .
It’s about finding what works for you and staying the path!! .
Step 1: recognize your internal narratives
Step 2: make a conscious choice to change and list the behaviors you will do to make the change.
Step 3: get accountability in the process (me) 😉 so that you can report in daily!
Step 4: celebrate everyday the person you are becoming in the process!!! .
👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻 what did you do today to honor your health and wellness?!!

How to know if you're a yo-yo dieter. I am reading a book & in the book she talks about creating healthy relationships with food! Over the past 6 years I have been super strict with my nutrition and fitness. When I say STRICT I mean, NO CHEATS or TREATS for the length of an entire program to see what results I can achieve! But when the program was over I would have this HUGE celebration CHEAT MEAL! Which I find extremely counterproductive to what I was trying to create.

So this brings up the ?? Do we just live from program to program just to go back to our old ways? Are we trying to create a lifestyle habit of healthy eating and exercise but we are doing exhibiting the behaviors to achieve that?
.
I also don't think its healthy to obsess over food, to let food be EVERYTHING that you think about! So I think it starts with your relationship with FOOD! Actually changing psychologically the narratives you are telling yourself so that you can have a healthy balance!!
.

Sure there are going to be times where you are a little more focused and also a little more relaxed. But when you have gained the tools of the trade to ditch the 'dieters mentality' then anything is possible. You are FREE from that scale, the word "diet" and more!!!
.
I can tell you that this weighs heavy on my heart and my mission is to change this pattern! To teach my clients that you don't have to feel like a saint, you don't have to be perfect, you don't use food as rewards because you are not a dog, but you learn to have balance and mindset together. We embrace our body, we love the skin that we are in and we make the shift!
.

Is it hard?? YUPPERS, no denying that! But- its the only way that you can have FOOD FREEDOM, BODY CONFIDENCE and lifelong health & fitness! It starts with doing the hard work to make the change!

I'm accepting this mission and starting immediately to implement the changes with my Holiday Survival Guide🎁 Group starting the 27th and running until the end of the year! Then my very first #eliminationchallenge in January 2018!
