My workout was terrible this morning and a few reasons this could be are:-

My sleep pattern last night was not consistent with previous nights and there was lack of it!
**
I’m trying to do strength training having had no food since last night - I also spent 45 minutes on the spin bike this morning prior so I’ve depleted a lot of energy stores already...
**
It’s Friday and I’ve trained twice a day everyday this week so my body will be feeling the effect..
**
Did I drink enough water the previous day? Am I dehydrated??
**
All questions you need to ask yourself...
**
Don’t let it stop you - Rest on days you need to rest, train on days you need to train...
**

Can I have a fry up for breakfast if I want to lose weight? **
YES! Yes you can!
**
Losing weight is associated to your calorie input vs your calorie output and this is linked to your daily PAL (Physical Activity Level)
PAL = calculation of TDEE divided by BMR
** BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate - Calories burned when at complete rest)
**
TDEE (total daily energy expenditure - Calories burned when exercise and general day to day movement is taken into consideration)
**
Let’s say I wish to lose 1lb a week, I need to be in a deficit of 3500kcal a week (total calories in 1lb of fat) - equalling 500kcal a day.
**
So how do I lose this:-
**
As an example, my TDEE is 2968Kcal on any day I am training, so to lose 1lb a week I should only eat 2468Kcal a day - deducting 500Kcal from my daily total.
**
But remember you rest days - this is where 500kcal should be deducted from you BMR - so if mine is 1650Kcal then I should only eat 1150Kcal a day! **
So in laymen’s terms :- putting yourself in a calorie deficit makes you lose weight! **
Not the food you eat 🤭💪🏽🥗
**
Yes, macronutrients / micronutrients help when it comes to the maintenance of muscle mass or building lean mass... But that’s a whole other story! 😋

It’s over my 4 weeks of building lean mass has finished and @m.hnutrition has done exactly what is promises ... I’ve added 0.5kg in 4 weeks and taking note of each of the points:-
1. Added 0.5kg in weight
2. Dropped from 19.4% body fat to 18.2%
3. Lost 0.5kg of fat mass
4. My FFM (Fat Free Mass) has gone from 56.3kg to 57.4kg
5. Finally - My Muscle Mass has gone from 53.5kg to 54.5kg

Overall, a GREAT RESULT!!
