▫️CHOCO WAFFLES ▫️
A regular breakfast player, you know the drill by now.
Recipe per person:
1 egg, 1 egg white, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (blacks organic), 1 tablespoon protein powder (I use @pulsinandbeond), 1 tablespoon coconut flour, maple agave syrup (for kiddos) or sugar free caramel syrup (for me) blend the whole lot and spread over a waffle iron greased with coconut oil.
Drizzle with choc shot and cacao nibs.
Enjoy 😋

I've suffered from sore stomachs and discomfort since I was a kid, however since I started looking after my gut I can honestly say I hardly ever get a sore stomach now or suffer bloating. G O O D G U T H A B I TS 🔸I strongly recommend taking a probiotic capsule daily (more potent than milky shots, some evidence to suggest these are ineffective) 🔸Eat plenty fibre: wholegrains, fresh clean whole foods, fruit and veg.
🔸Drink loads of water, at least 1 litre per day.
🔸Try including fermented food and drinks in your diet such as Kefir, Kombucha, Sauerkraut, Pickles, Miso, Tempeh, Natto, Kimchi. 🔸Yoga and stretches around the core work like an internal massage. Try cobra or a lying, twisty side stretch to ease out cramps.

Little workout with the boy this morning doing a bit of heads, shoulders, knees and toes 😂
After the last five days away I was badly in need of moving my muscles and little mr woke up early so we did some exercise together. He loves getting involved.
Even better if you incorporate some songs like here.
I did about 20 minutes of this (not filmed: jump squats, lunge jumps, side plank rotations) then out for an hour walk with the ergo. I had him in the front in the hope that he'd sleep but nope, he wanted to eat mums headphone wire and point at the birds 🐦😍

Loving this swimsuit, it looks and feels way more expensive than it actually was.
More pics and where it's from in my stories. It only got one airing in the pool at the campsite but we're hot footing it home just in time to make Sonny's swimming lesson later.
So nice to be coming home from holiday on a Friday knowing we still have a whole weekend before dad goes back to work. ☺️
I think we'll all need a couple of days to recharge our batteries anyway. Had a lovely time though and Sonny loved it.
Check out the campsite at @tummelvalleyholiday if you fancy a little Scottish break. Beautiful setting and loads for the kids. Pool, play park, activities, a huge furry lizard, disco, ducks, frogs and red squirrels literally on your door step. (Like actually at your caravan door, I kid you not!)

Grilled Halloumi and Tabbouleh salad, part of our delicious meal tonight. Two nights in a row at Fern Cottage Restaurant in Pitlochry.
Definitely recommend if you're in the area. The chicken kebab and Greek salad that Sonny and I shared was also amazing, pictures in story. We never really give him 'kid' options when we're eating out, I've said this before.. partly because they're usually bland and secondly because they're mostly unhealthy: fish fingers/chicken nuggets/chips. Deep fried yellow food 🤢
Instead we share our meals with him so he now loves all sorts of food and flavours, meat and veg of all sorts. Right now he adores olives and tzaziki!
Love discovering hidden gems like here where the flavours and food are fresh and healthy, and the portions huge 😋👌😍

Just going through some old photos to free up space and found pic on the left from a year ago, roughly a month after having our baby, and then a week or so ago on the right.
Always amazes me that our bodies are capable of changing so much. When you have a big pregnant belly it feels like it will never shrink back but it really does.
Consistent training, a consistent diet of plenty fresh whole, clean foods. Only supplements are a multi vitamin and probiotic.
Look at monthly even yearly progress and don't get sucked into thinking you're having a 'bad week' and then sabotaging your long term progress. Like last week I felt really bloated and down on my progress, and then this week felt ok again 🙄
When starting out with fitness and exercise small manageable changes = long term sustainable results. The bulk of my diet is clean and I have an active lifestyle. I think that's more important than short term crash diets and quick fixes.

Woohoo it's #holiday time again! Also happy to see my abs have returned after they took their own monthly vay cay... 🤦‍♀️girls, you know.
Nothing too glamorous but super excited to be off for a few days glamping in Scotland ⛺️ Although packing for this country is impossible because you never know if you're going to get sun, snow, rain... all three in one day, it's happened before 👀
Anyway I've taken every 'incase of' i can think of and at least we don't have baggage allowance to worry about.
There's a pool and river so packed a big bag of sports/swim wear. Will probably only wear a quarter of it 🙈

Just made these Tunnucks Caramel Log overnight chai oats and they literally taste like eating one of those chocolate biscuits - if you're Scottish you'll definitely know what one of these are and if not go and find one... today. Or try these oats 😋
To make I soaked oats and a tablespoon of chai seeds in almond milk overnight then heated gently in a pan in the morning. Add a little maple agave syrup for little ones, and for mine I had sugar free caramel syrup.
Then top with 🍌 stars, cocoa nibs, shaved coconut and @pipandnut coconut 🌴 almond butter. This is my favourite oat recipe by far to date 😋
So we jinxed the weather by getting the paddling pool out 🙈its finally inflated (huge arm workout!! 💪) clouds in the sky and Sonny having a nap. Oh well, at least it's still hot ⛅️

Hey everyone, here's my C A B L E workout from this morning.
Due to the fact that Sonny took a long lie in today (hurrah!) I got a decent amount of time in the gym 😁First time trying the reclined row which I saw the don @alexia_clark doing. Definitely felt the burn! Love discovering new exercises... working your muscles differently, even by changing the position slightly can have a massive impact.
Keep your body guessing ✅
Keep your body challenged ✅
Get out of your comfort zone, try new things. Being REALLY good at one specific exercise can be a bad thing because if that's all your doing... babe you're going nowhere 💁
It's a scorcher here today (in Scotland wtf?!) so my uphill walk on the dread mill was 😩 but got it done all the same.
We're doing a bit of shopping but I'm already regretting that decision as the sun beats down! But then hopefully home to get the paddling pool out 💦💦☀️
