Not a person in sight just infinite black sand beaches..literally my kind of heaven! This is Dyrholaey Peninsula, near Vik, South Iceland and a crucial pit stop during any Icelandic road trip. Now just need to find Iceland's planning permission regulations to see how can I build my future house here! 😉
Came across this beautiful Icelandic horse on my Golden Circle tour with @extremeiceland. We shared a moment..it was deep! If you know me, you'll know I'm a crazy animal lover! Comment below if you're an animal lover too! P.s thank you @extremeiceland for this experience! Definitely check them out for some epic tours around Iceland!!
Isolated in a remote cottage in the south coast of Iceland and came across this beauty! This photo was taken from my bedroom and it's safe to say I didn't want the night to end. It's my second time seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland so I would definitely recommend visiting Iceland if it's on your bucket list! 👌🏽
Exploring the US Navy DC-3 wreckage on Sólheimasandur black sand beach. This wrecked airplane husk has been here since the 1970s and luckily all crew members survived the crash. A must see during your next Iceland visit! However it's a 4km walk to get there so keep that in mind. ✌🏽
Road-tripping the western coast of Iceland and came across this hidden gem! A geothermal hot pool with the most beautiful view. We even managed to watch the sun set over the glacial valleys...the epitome of paradise!
✖️Bridge Balancin'✖️ Climbing the Skeiðará Bridge monument where twisted girders are all that remain of an Icelandic bridge. It was was wiped out by a combination of volcanic heat and glacial floods! Cirque du soleil here I come..jokes 🙃
The moment when you're actually too hot and on a beach in Iceland 🤣 Got to share with you guys a really cool story about this place. So..according to folklore, two trolls attempted to drag a three-masted ship to land a long long time ago. They tried and tried but little did they know time was of the essence. So the minute daylight broke, they unfortunately turned to stone becoming the Reynisdrangar stacks as seen behind me. #learnwithakash ✌🏽@guidetoiceland#guidetoiceland
❄️ The Seal Life ❄️ A short walk from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is the incredible Diamond Beach. The lagoon opens into the ocean, and some of the icebergs wash up on Diamond Beach! Literally looks like hundreds of diamond scattered around. @guidetoiceland#guidetoiceland
Exploring the ice caves of Mýrdalsjökull that covers the active volcano Katla. One of nature's most magnificent creations! Note to self don't wear a longline coat while ice caving! Stay tuned for more posts from my two day tour to South Iceland with @guidetoiceland! ✌🏽
Arguably one of the most mesmerising moments of my life under the beautiful Skógafoss. A waterfall situated on the Skógá River in the south of Iceland. I did get soaked but it was so worth it and the double rainbow was the undoubtable icing on the cake! Thank you @guidetoiceland for this experience! #guidetoiceland
