~70 reps of Slingshot and I'm feeling proficient. Remembered half a dozen things that I'd forgotten, which add up to quite a subpar bench press.

On an unrelated note, due to a number of recent drug failures in the CPU and USAPL, I feel compelled to urge lifters to leave their preworkouts and instead join the #coffeeandbananas crew (and pickle juice) .

Underestimated my fatigue from yesterday's shirt and slingshot work, and today's slingshot work.

These 84% dubbs felt like absolute garbage, but surprisingly only looked half garbage.

Possible solution found. Realized my best pressing has always been during times of using the Slingshot.

It reinforces good elbow position, punishes pressing straight off the chest, and reminds one to stay tight and engage the lats. All things that you can cheat during board press.

Hoping replacing raw boards with this will be a step in the right direction.

Feeling thoroughly incapable both in technique and strength.

Wasn't able to bench below a 1bd raw or equipped for this prep, and it's really showing.
Very aware of what I need to be doing, just that my body is incapable of doing so.
