cold ❄️

Some days, like today, I feel like it’s two steps forwards and one step. My arms don’t move as quickly and strongly as I’d like. My feet don’t spin quite as tightly as I hope. I feel off balance, and weak. All I can do is put on a favorite song and throw my negativity into my hoop and hope that it will pull through in aiding my frustration to transform this negativity into tranquility.. it always does ;)

Gifting a pair of lightly used 20” UV purple minis! To enter, all you have to do is comment something other than flow arts that grounds you. Bonus entry if you repost this photo, but be sure to tag me so it shows up on my profile. If you don’t do this I may miss your notification! I am only keeping this open for 10 hours, and then I won’t be accepting any more entries. Winner will be announced on my story this evening. Xoxo (edit: congrats @mollycandefinitely!)

Cell phones... we all use them, but to what degree? Is it a crutch? An escape? Are you bored? I remember listening to a podcast that taught me the two minute theory, which really helped me detach. When you put your phone down, the first two minutes are the hardest.. but if you can make it past those two minutes that you itch to check your phone, creativity will begin and the attachment will start to leave. Put your phone away. Go do something and leave it in your car. Wear a watch and purchase an in home clock to prevent you from using your device to tell time. Practice patience. Be present with those you engage with, no distractions. Make your connections real and more meaningful. Read a book. Have a conversation. Let your phone die and don’t charge it. Phones can be good, but watch the boundaries. Do not let it control you.
