Two of my favorite exercises for legs:
πŸ‘‰πŸΌSIDE SQUATS on the smith: I use really light weight on this and I can really feel the isolation of the glute that is parallel with the shoulder holding the weight. Sometimes I'll use my hip circle for more glute engagement. I'll do 10 reps each side of these & superset withhhhhhh
πŸ‘‰πŸΌSIDE LUNGES: I typically throw these in with another weighted exercise since I do them with no weight. This clip is sped up, but I try to control these as I go down and try not to hunch over when performing the rep. They are really challenging if your flexibility/mobility isn't there but their fun to work on πŸ€“ I'll do 10 reps each side of these also & 4 sets of the entire superset πŸ’ƒ #postingthisvideo2weekslaterbecauselazy

Combo #1 from my workout tonightπŸ’©(sped up) Recently changed my split to 3 upper body circuit days, 2 lower body plyo / circuit days and 1 heavy glute day and I'm loving it 😊 This was my lower plyo workout day and I usually do 4-5 combos like this for 3-4 sets each. It takes me 45-60 minutes and I typically burn 500-600 calories. For this particular combo I tried to be mindful of my form and being explosive with each movement. After the full combination, I rested until my heart rate went down to 150ish before the next setπŸ˜„ Try it ouuuuut πŸ’ƒ

This is a picture of nothing except to express my frustration on my trip to LA thus far... lol. I got in this morning but could not check into my Airbnb until 4pm. Sooo I carried my luggage and went to @barbellbrigade (which was super awesome, such good vibes 😻 y'all are great) and then to chipotle to do work, but chipotle doesn't have wifi lol... so I went to Coffee Bean but tried to get on the internet but their wifi is down... so I tried to use my hotspot but don't have my charger. Long story short I'm waiting to get on the internet to do work & to be able to check into my Airbnb so I'm not carrying a million bags around LA by myself lol helpπŸ˜‚ Anywho, I'll be at the LA fit expo Saturday and Sunday for @pescience if any of you are going! thanks for listening to my frustrations πŸ™ƒ Have a good day everyone !!!

4x4 with 195lbs 😻 So I've never really squatted for my max or anything - I've always done squats with moderate weight and some sort of variation of a squat. Buuuut for the last 2 weeks I decided to squat heavier than normal and lemme tell ya it felt so good! These are from last night.. (sped up obviously) and now I love squats more than deadlifts πŸ™ƒ Which do you guys prefer? πŸ€”

Glute burnout at the end of my workout today with a resistance bandπŸ‘ΆπŸΌ My Glute program link in is in my bio πŸ€“ I focus mainly on high volume / high intensity leg and glute work but also throw in some heavier movements to start. My deadlifts / squats are always variations though such as pause squats, squat holds, front squats, deficit deadlifts etc. There's a lot you can do to grow your legs / glutes - You just can't be afraid to try! πŸ€—

CLIP 1 was lateral jumping lunges w/ medicine ball. I was trying to stay upright, keep core tight & roll my shoulders back and down * this was like my last exercise so excuse any sloppiness 😜
CLIP 2 are side lunges which are very challenging so I'll usually use no weight and pair them with another exercise as a superset. I try to keep my knee from going over my toe and stay wide enough so you're actually doing a LATERAL movement as opposed to shifting your weight forward. #happysunday My GLUTE πŸ‘ program is still available for purchase **** LINK IN BIO ☺️
