Ah the pressure of social media to look perfect. It can only harm you. Nobody is perfect and our flaws make us beautiful. And if something reeeeally really, but really bugs you fix it-but in moderation.Fillers are not permanent (Thank God)and can help if used skillfully to correct uneven lips or whatever else. But ofcourse many of us abuse them and end up with “duck” lips.Learn from me, too much of a “good thing” is NOT a good thing.I mean who wants to look like a CatWoman😹 ?! Many esthetic doctors out there will try and convince you that you need the whole injectable inventory in your lips and face just because they want your money but don’t fall for that.I was actually so shocked when I went to see @dralistair for my lips.He was like “Maya you don’t need that shit! You aRe naturally beautiful.Actually lets just dissolve that filler you already have and let your lips be!”I am so grateful that he convinced me to get rid of it.Truth be told he gained my respect in a major way, because even tho that’s his business he tries to convince patients to keep it natural.Wish there were more of him out there to boost women’s self esteem instead of just making us all look generic.
Not tryna preach cause really i’m the last to say anything on this topic, but all I can say is before you try do anything to yourself think about how much it can change you. And not always for the better. Just because some “influencer”got it done doesn’t mean you need it too! 🙂
