Maxpedition's founder & CEO, Tim C. Tang, has just been awarded United States utility patent number 10,130,162 for his invention known commercially as the TacTie Polymer Joining Clip, providing intellectual property protection to the gear strap's unique function & operation. A previously issued design patent number D796,846 for the same invention protects its outward appearance.
The TacTie PJC is a core component of Maxpedition's modular system, serving as to hardware used to integrate MOLLE-compatible pouches & pockets onto the PALS / ATLAS attachment surfaces of bags & packs. More importantly, unlike competitors' products which many find frustrating to use, Maxpedition's clips provide secure connections when properly engaged while requiring no tools for disengagement.
Finding useful & practical solutions to our customers' real world problems is a primary mission objective for the Maxpedition design team, and these patents issued by the USPTO serve as the highest & most meaningful recognition of Maxpedition's ability to innovate. Since 2003 and throughout the past 15 years, Maxpedition has established itself as and remains a thought leader in the #tacticalgear marketspace. For more info, please visit Maxpedition.com
