34 Days out from show Numero Uno - The Summer Shredding Classic!🙌🏽

Here is my current Physique going into the final 5 weeks! I am super excited with where I am at right now physique wise, and the final changes that are ahead of me with these next 34 days.

Yes, I want to win each show that I enter. But to me the bigger award and trophy is beating my previous physique. I love competing and this lifestyle cause it is always You vs. You. Each time I hit that stage I want to be and look better than the time before, cause it is with this result that I got "better". I am confident that this will be the case this year as well, but only time will tell!💪🏽

From being in heart failure/ cardiomyopathy to achieving a 6 month goal..... I am at a loss for words at what @prirruto was able to achieve!
.
Paul came to me 6 months ago with the goal to get “Summer ready” by Memorial Day Weekend and I think he has achieved just that!😎
.
But this was NO easy task whatsoever, let me tell ya haha with Paul in heart failure/ cardiomyopathy, he had dieting restrictions, cardio restrictions, and training restrictions, all of which were of extreme importance and changed the course of our plan from the start!
.
But despite his starting position, he stood strong and followed the plan to a freaking T! I can honestly say he never missed a cardio session and legit would get mad if someone beat him to the stair master, which made him use the treadmill for our cardio session😂, he never missed a workout and stuck to his nutrition plan to the best of his ability at all times!
.
Paul it’s been an absolute honor my man! You’ve worked your 🍑 off for this brother, and it’s been a privilege being in your corner throughout it all!🙏🏽🙌🏽

I seriously cannot believe this is going to be my 7th show coming up in June.... where has these past 5 years gone?!

Legit feels like yesterday that I was throwing the board shorts on (light blue of course😂) for the very first time! And here is the funny thing, I know how hard and grueling this “lifestyle” can be, but I can honestly say it’s made me the man I am today. I owe so much to this lifestyle as it’s given me a purpose and passion in this world. It has shown me first hand exactly what hard work, discipline, and determination can do. And most importantly it has instilled in me the “never give up mentality”, and for that and all of those reasons, I am forever grateful.🙏🏽🙌🏽

We got 38 days till showtime, and boy oh boy, I cannot wait to get up there and showcase all the hard work and sweat that has gone into this prep thus far! I have such an incredible team🌊 behind me, and I can honestly say I’ve never been so hungry to get this done!

I get a lot of DMs about this bad boy when I throw it up on my story and there is honestly one thing I want to say about this product (Recovery Cream)....👇🏽

1. I like it more than the CBD Drops. The Recovery Cream is great when it comes to relieving pain in sore/ tight spots. I legit rub some cream on my lower back post workout, and within 10-15 minutes I really do feel a difference. It kinda reminds me of Bengay Cream.

Why you should never rely on motivation as a means of achieving a goal...👇🏽

I used to think highly motivated people were the ones that always reached their goals and became successful. Everyone has bouts of motivation that come in varying degrees, but as we all know those bursts of motivation fade.
.
One thing I’ve come to realize that separates people who reach their goals and those that don’t is discipline and intent. The people that continue to carry out their habits and rituals that they know is best for their greater good even when their body and mind are yelling at them not too.
.
Whether that’s getting in shape, starting a successful business, or becoming number one in anything. Following through with the tasks that will help you accomplish what you told yourself you were going to accomplish will only get you closer and closer to your full potential.
.
So instead of waiting to feel motivated to take action, you just have to have intention and discipline to stick to the promises you make to yourself!
.
This will allow you to just do it regardless. Because if you have the right intention behind your actions then it won’t matter if you are feeling motivated or not because you just have to do it.
.
This is the EXACT reason why SO many people fail to stick with a diet. Because they are waiting for the right time.
.
They expect to wake up one morning and feel ready. But they won’t. Again, they are waiting for that motivation to slap them in the face but the only ones that will succeed are those that create their own intention and just do it.
.
There will never be the “right time” guys. But you just got to go for it anyways. Forget motivation and just have the intention to get started, get out there, and chase your goals and YES, it will be hard. YES, you won’t want to do it everyday, but you have to remember why you are doing it in the first place!💪🏽🙌🏽

My motivation comes from the possibility of a dream becoming a reality. Fitness has always held a special place in my heart, and the ability to help/inspire others on a HUGE level when it comes to this passion of mine is my absolute dream. And its the thought alone of this dream becoming a reality that lights my fire and motivates me like no other!

This past year alone I have really put my foot down on the pedal to pursue this dream of mine, and it legit gives me goosebumps to look back and see the foundation I began to lay for something that is going to be truly great one day!
.
I don’t want to look back one day at my life and be full of “what ifs”. We got one at bat, one life, and I am sure as hell chasing this dream of mine with everything I got. I am motivated now more then ever to make this dream a reality, as I saw first hand what hard work and consistency can do!

✖️What Happens When You Eat Your Veggies😎✖️

JK but on a real note these pictures are exactly 7 years apart. That photo on the left was legit from the from the month I got a real gym membership and had not a clue in the world what I was doing. I would legit go in there everyday, train arms and abs, and peace out.😂

Fast forward 7 years and here we are! Same dude, just a little bigger (still have tiny calves) and trains much more than arms and abs everyday😂

The whole point behind this post is to show you guys what’s possible, what’s real, and what should be expected!

Changes in your body take time.**(let that sink in)** I always tell my clients “everyday is just a drop in the bucket”. If you see this as a slow process, take your time, while still moving forward, you are truly putting yourself in a great position to see some changes!

The people who win in fitness, are the people who understand the process. They are truly in it for the long haul and if they screw up here or there, they always make sure to get back on track and do better the next day. Be patient, remind yourself over and over on why you began this journey in the first place, and take it one day at a time!

It has taken me years to build this physique, and I am still far from done.

This is a never ending process that you truly need to fall in love with. And this is always something I try to express to everyone I work with for online training. If you are in this for the short game and quick results, you will never achieve it.

This is exactly the same as building a business. It takes a TON of dedication, discipline, persistence, and patience. This is truly why I feel fitness is such a powerful tool that can change your mindset towards many other areas of your life!🙌🏽

It seems like people are often frustrated because they don’t know where their passion truly lies or what they want to do in life. And it’s always funny to me when I look back and think that just a few years ago I had none of these ideas in my head, and this passion was definitely not in my heart.

I truly do think that one should go through life trying out a lot of different things, being open to new ideas, and doing things that scare them/ make them uncomfortable. Eventually after trying a ton of different things and failing at some, hating some, and loving some, you will find that thing that truly feels right to you!

Find out what makes you happy. This YouTube thing of mine and Online Coaching is the definition of side hustle, and I absolutely love it and already get so much satisfaction from it. And I love that I am SLOWLY working my way up and finding ways to do it for a living one day soon.😎

Moral of the story here is that there is always a way, and if there isn’t one, create one. I know how cringy it sounds to “chase your dreams”, but ever since I started adopting that mindset, I got a lot of stuff done, and the best part is, I am only getting started!😎💪🏽🙌🏽
