Today I lost my grandfather, the only man I could always count on throughout my life. From picking me up for soccer practice/games, to taking me out to breakfast or lunch constantly. Giving me my first car and teaching me to drive stick shift and rescuing me when it broke down, only to fix it in ten minutes and amaze me as you went back to work. I'll never forget you taking me out with your mining buddies and filming me as I found my first quarts crystal and putting it in my mouth to clean it off, or the many trips to Death Valley to experience digging for salt crystals and camping out at the pinnacles. You were the first person to let me drive a car, and you always invited me to come with you whenever you were doing something cool. You exposed me to cars at such a young age. I do what I do now because I wanted to follow in your footsteps. The balls it had to take to move across the country and take out a loan and start your own business is amazing. You'll always be in my heart, may you rest in peace!
