Acid Town is one of those underrated BL mangas that I really enjoy reading because of the bitterpain and twisted sweetness that it brings forth.
Now that I think of it, her works always have hints of melancholy and pain, sometimes they're subtle. But they're definitely there. Even her fluffy ones.
For me, one of the things that makes a mangaka great is when they're able to portray the feelings of their characters and let the readers make them feel it too, no matter how subtle or vivid it is.
I love Kyougou sensei's works, her art and plot is always good. Not quite your typical BL. But then that's what makes them great. And I think, overall, Kyougou sensei is underrated (but then most of the good ones almost always are, aren't they?)
