Saddest news on the net, the cancellation of @netflix @odaatnetflix, considering it has done SO MUCH for our Latino community and other minorities, and for the rest of the world to see us represented in a better light. The opportunity to see a legend like @theritamoreno share the stage with talented newcomers like @itsmarcelruiz ... it is truly a shame to cancel a show that is not only soooo well scripted and cast, but produced and directed, a show that sets the bar for new or remake of sitcoms, sets the bar for inclusion and for giving a voice to communities that for decades have been misrepresented if any. I wish #Netflix would reconsider or a major network rescues this TV neomasterpiece!!! It was a true delight to binge watch and repeat on this, it was a true pleasure to see my idol, and the idol and role model of many generations of latina actresses, @theritamoreno displaying her beautiful “abuela”! THANK YOU #RitaMoreno, #THANKYOU #onedayatatime family... #GRACIAS!!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 #saveodaat

I am grieving for the terrible loss of my beloved character, Lydia, on @odaatnetflix. A glorious confection/creation put together by @gloriakellett and @mikeroyce thanks to the brilliance of @thenormanlear and his extraordinary partner, @thebrent_miller who thought of it all in the first place.
I’m not entirely sure how I’ll manage without the ability to exercise that manic, theatrical side of me that’s been loitering on the edges of my life for years looking for a home.
I am so sad at the loss of mi familia and, of course, “esneider”. Adiós Lydia, Adiós Lupita, Adiós Alex and Elena, Adiós Dr. Berkowitz
