Congrats to incoming Battalion Commander Morgan Gaither. She took over the top leadership position from BC Gavin Laffoon in yesterday's #ChangeofCommand ceremony. A resident of Brookwood, AL, Cadet Gaither plays shortstop for the MMI Softball team and is enrolled in the civilian Leadership Education Program. #passingthetorch #cadetlife #collegesoftball

#Reposting @mmi_intramurals -- Great turnout for spring flag football 🏈📸🔥

#Reposting @onealholmes -- This marks my seventh alumni weekend at Marion Military Institute. The alumni of this amazing little school in rural Alabama make it so much fun! I look forward every year to seeing classmates reunited and alumni reigniting their love for this great institution. We had alumni from the early 50s all the way to 2017 come back. They may be in different generations, but they all share the common experience of being Marion Made. Your time at MMI stays with you the rest of your life. #marionmilitaryinstitute #mmiaw2018 #alumni #marionmade

Stand by while we process all 3,000 photos from this weekend! My computer says it’s only going to take about 9 hours to load them 😂. Here’s a small album of shots of our young alums (who really showed up this weekend) visiting with current casts and old friends. We will add all of the tremendous photos from our Cadet photographers and staff on Monday. We had an awesome time capturing all of the fun moments throughout this special weekend. Thanks for coming and thank you for your patience! #MMIAW2018 please tag us in your pictures so we can share them!

The tower was open this morning for alumni and friends! What an awesome way to spend a morning. Swamp Foxes ran several families up and down the tower and then put on an excellent show for the crowd, who gathered to see the new tower and obstacle course. #mmiaw2018 #swampfox #rappel

We were so pleased to honor Ed O’Neal ‘80 as the alumnus of the year! From volunteering at move-in days to serving as a Board of Trustees & Advisors member, Ed is always giving his time and energy to MMI. #mmiaw2018 #alumnusoftheyear #whiteknight #marionmade

Another fantastic performance from Debora Street’s talented group of musicians and singers. #mmiaw2018 #choir #bigband

Festivities are still in full swing at #mmiaw2018! Stay tuned for full coverage of the weekend.

What a blast! Murfee’s Mudders OCR team loved running the alumni and their families through the obstacle course today to kick off the third day of alumni weekend festivities! #mmiaw2018 #ocr #marionmade #marionmadechallenge

Alumni! Rise and shine! This morning at 830-930, you will have the chance to climb and rappel off the brand new tower with the Swamp Foxes AND try out the new obstacle course with the OCR Team, Murfee’s Mudders. Come on! Live a little. #climb #rappel #ocr #mmiaw2018 #marionmade
