I just can't get enough of this stuff. I used to eat meat and dairy 2-3 times a day and I was CONVINCED that I had to eat animal products in order to "survive." Now that I've learned the truth about plant-based nutrition (after 15 years of hard work), I'm as happy as a (plant-based) clam.

Day 4 of the Mastering Diabetes Retreat in Idyllwild, CA is complete! Check out the shenanigans we got into today. I am having so much fun I can't even express it in words.

Guest post! Blueberry action from @annasoman ... Being at my parents house away from my usual kitchen implements of destruction (vitamix, juicer), has inspired some new breakfasts. They were nice enough to stock the house with frozen wild blueberries and bananas. Hosted a party at our place last night that turned into a #plantbased feast. This was Anna's salad, covered in sweet pink Cara Cara oranges. Salad: red leaf lettuce, spinach, fennel, radishes and radish greens, and oranges. Dressing (in blender): 1 large ripe mango, 1 bunch cilantro, 1/2 cup+ fresh orange (to desired thickness).
