What can I even say? My favorite food, my favorite team, my favorite people — this birthday was a home run.

Paccheri with onion veal ragu or known as “Paccheri Alla Genovese” is a traditional Neapolitan dish that was served as a special last night at Da Giorgio. It’s a comfort dish made with love. The paccheri was perfectly al dente, the ground veal was moist and flavorful. Chef got creative with the vidalia onions, which added a great sweetness to the dish and boy did he nail it! Execution 10/10, Bravo👏🏼🍝

Good to see Pax back in action. They haven’t missed a beat when it comes to the pizza, the pinsa romana flour is imported from Rome makes them the only restaurant in NY and second in the country to have it. With long fermented dough for 72 hours, it’s light, more digestible and gives the pizza a special flavor. Here we have the Pizza Diavola- Calabrese style hot sopressata and Nduja🔥. For dessert you need to try the bomboloni with Nutella! An Italian doughnut filled with Nutella and powdered sugar on can’t possibly tell me that doesn’t sound delicious.

Pizza food trucks are always a golden idea, and @abeetzny stole the show last night with an outstanding performance. Take my word and follow them for your own won’t be let down. Accommodating service, quality pizza and one hell of an oven.

One thing I always told myself is that walking through a piazza in Florence is special but walking through a piazza in Florence with gelato is next level perfection.

Yes, this cannoli’s been juicing. But let me assure you, it’s not considered cheating in this game.

Go for the Sunday funday, stay for the grandma style pizza.

19 different flavors and a line that’s always out the door, Mike’s pastry is a true staple in the North End section of Boston on Hanover St. It’s essentially an institution, so don’t listen to the naysayers who claim Mike’s is overrated. What’s overrated about a limoncello flavored cannoli? Answer me that. Don’t ever undervalue the significance behind these cannolis.
