Today's the day! After a lot of planning, a little travelling, and some hard work, we finally get to brew this year's 100% NY ingredient "Upstate Harvest" Ale! We've sourced our grains from @1886malt , gathered pumpkins and flailed rye from Mabee Historic Farm @schenectadyhistorical , and picked some hops out at @indian_ladder_farms_c_b ! We roasted the pumpkins with brown sugar, honey and cinnamon, and mixed it right in with the grains (the brew house smells awesome this morning!)
