It took me a very long time to love my room. Probably up until right now, I flat out hated my space. After combining some minimalism tips and Marie Kondo inspired deep cleaning, I've 180'd. It took a couple years of small renovations and figuring out the right color and light influence, but it's definitely created overnight changes in my mood and productivity.
Side note: I never thought switching up my freaking hamper would make me a better person, but we don't give enough credit to inanimate objects.
