I was asked this morning : "Lynn, how are you so happy and buzzing so early in the morning?"
What's the first thing you do in the morning?
❣️snooze your alarm
❣️go back to sleep instead of exercising
❣️have a carb loaded breakfast
For me, not too long ago I would have said yes to several of these things.
A very wise lady, who I am lucky to call my friend, said recently "The second you scroll Facebook, you've ruined your day"

Why do we insist on checking in on other people's lives before we check in on ourselves?
Now- the first 30 seconds of my morning goes a bit like this:
❣️I don't enable the snooze feature - when my alarm goes off, I count to 5 and get out of bed. #
❣️As my feet hit the floor I note how grateful I am to be alive another today, to have woken healthy and happy. .
This simple shift in how I start my morning, repeated over consecutive days has shifted my energy levels completely.
I am more alert and active. I am less stressed and not easily agitated. I am not obsessed by Facebook and Instagram. (Kind of). And I Am "so happy and buzzing"
