When you focus on YOU, everything gets better.

From very recent experiences in the past 2 years, I learned two things:
-
1. Do not allow anything or anyone that makes you feel drained or not yourself to stay close to you. There’s such things as energy suckers.
2. Do not let these same things or people make you feel inferior or bad about yourself. You’re amazing regardless of what anyone says.

Work on yourself, work on your goals. Party a little less, and work a little more on those things you need to work on. Eat healthier, workout more, study more, whatever it is, do it! All these other stuff will always be there. Don’t expect things to fall off the sky for you. Learn to love yourself just the way you are, BUT know your flaws, and embrace them. Be humble, but also always remind yourself who the fuck you are.

Been feeling the all black lately. #happyfriday

Some weeks/days are better than others.

Last week I was really low on energy, did not feel like working out much, and was just mentally tired and drained. This week though, I’ve been feeling really energetic, killing my workouts, I still get tired of course, but more physically and that’s the type of tired I can deal with perfectly. My moods are steady 😂 (Gemini’s will understand), and getting along with everyone just fine, woop woop.

What I’m trying to say is, don’t let one bad day or week keep you off track or throw you off, you know? It all goes away. 🤗 Hope your week is going well and productive!

Meal #1: 2 whole wheat bread slices 2 whole eggs 👉🏼40g carbs - 20g protein - 13g fat

Meal #2: Tuna whole wheat wrap 👉🏼 22g carbs - 26g protein - 14g fat

Meal #3: 1cup white rice, 1cup Roman beans, around 3oz steak with plum tomatoes 👉🏼 77g carbs - 30g protein - 5g fat
.
Meal #4: @eatbanza ‘s Chickpea pasta, @gardein ‘s meatless meatballs, and broccoli 👉🏼 68g carbs - 45g protein - 15g fat
.
Meal #5: 3/4cup Quinoa, @gardein ‘s beefless tips and broccoli 👉🏼 36g carbs - 26g protein - 8g fat

Total: 242g carbs / 147g protein / 55g fat: 2,051 calories.

All macros were mostly an estimation, there’s actually at least 150-200 calories more I did not count for because I didn’t cook one of the meals myself, and the others were mostly eyed, I am not counting calories just yet, because I want to work on bringing my appetite up first. I still have to add one more meal to make it 6, and clean it up a bit (less fat, more veggies and so on). I didn’t have “snacks” or smoothies/ protein shakes yesterday, actually had a very good meal day. You should always aim for ACTUAL FOOD rather than shakes or anything of that sort, unless is convenient for you if you’re running on certain timing/no appetite or other cirtcumtances. Remember this is WHAT WORKS FOR ME, my body and my goals. And right now the goal is to growwww these buns! Only way to grow is through food and heavy lifting 💪🏼 PS. I eat different things most days this was just yesterda’s line up!

So today I tried doing a “food log” but I don’t stop eating until around 1-2am, so I guess I’ll post it tomorrow for those few of you who asked me for one. Also my lower body/Abs program will be ready to be sent out on Saturday! So prob on Thursday I’ll start taking emails about it!.... and lastly I wore a bodysuit thingy for the first time today, and lord Jesus was it uncomfortable, specially when using the rest room 🙄 made me look like a little ninja though lol 🕴🏻 woop, thank you all for all the love! 💕

#transformationtuesday don’t neglect your upperbody version ✨💪🏼 (mid 2014 - now) I actually lost some muscle intentionally on my upper body, because it was getting too much for my body type and personal goals. Now I lift pretty light just to maintain it 💁🏻

Only exercise I was able to record today, my phone was almost dying so couldn’t do much. Not much weight needed! 10 full reps, 8-10 pulses this will have your quads on fire 🔥

Here’s some transformation pics to motivate you all go to the gym today if you have to! As you can see, gaining muscle has helped my body look a lot fuller, I was 21 (110-115lbs) when I started taking Fitness serious, so I had already grown into my “woman body”😂 I am 25 now (135lbs). I didn’t want to make these about just my butt getting bigger cause it obviously has lol, but more about my body composition changing in general and health.

I’ve been training for almost 4 years (will make 4 in December), and I’ll tell you I haven’t been a “healthy” person throughout all 4. I believe 2015 and 2016 were the least healthy years mentally and physically, 2015 I was putting my body through too much, I was feeding it way too much, or way too little, and working out 6 days a week sometimes twice a day, to then getting injured and not being mentally there in 2016. I must say -
A Fitness journey is an every day, for the rest of your life type thing, you have to work on it continuously. Shouldn’t be a chore, should be something you do simply to help your health, it doesn’t matter if you’re into bodybuilding or not, you don’t have to go to the gym just to lift weights. Do it for you, to keep your mind and body healthy 🙏🏼.

Pic #4 will tell you, undereating and overworking my body, to overeating and underworking my body. These pics were taken a month apart (April - May 2015) I was disgusted with myself in the second pic, I gained 20lbs in less than two weeks, although now that I look at it it wasn’t as bad as I felt back then, but the way I was eating (large whole pie, whole cheesy bread + cinnamon sticks in one sitting by myself) wasn’t healthy at all. Binge eating is an eating disorder, I am happy I’m long far from where I was back then. Anybody else woke up tired af today? Cause I did 😩 been feeling super tired this week, energy levels are down lol, I did upper body yesterday and only got like 4 exercises in and decided to leave the gym😭 I just wasn’t feeling it, but got leg day today soooooo shake it off Luz!! What are you all training, if you’re training??
