We got a message from @sollerman.
”These boots were purchased by my father-in-law for his annual walk and fishing trip in Lapland. It has been his tradition since many years and was very important to him. When I got to join for the first time, it felt like I had been fully accepted as his son-in-law :) All other weeks during the year, you could always find the boots in the same place – hanging from their shoe laces in the garage. He gave them a lot of careful cleaning and greasing. He is deceased since many years and now a days the shoes belong to my brother-in-law. He uses them a lot more often, so now the boots need new soles.”
Thanks for this story, we love to see our boots walk for generations.
