Meal prep is the most important thing in living a healthier life. Helps you save money, time, and not commit to temptations!
Here are a few tips about meal prepping without getting bored..........
1). Meal prep with different seasoning! Sodium is needed in the body specially when you workout and do cardio in one day! I can tell you I’ve tried almost every seasoning out there! I look for low sodium ones or no sodium one but it is ok to have sodium! I also have like every flavor Mr. Dash out there but also have some sazón(Puerto rican seasoning) •
2). Change the way you cook your food, Grill some, steak some, boil some! It’s all mental so in all on the head once’s you do it differently you will get a different taste and will like the food you eat! •
3). Meal prep twice a week instead of for all 7 days! I split my meal prep so that they are fresh! I do not freeze my meal I keep them in the fridge since I do 3-4 days at a time! Also cook your 1st and last meal fresh! Makes it better and easier to eat! •
4). Change up your carbs, proteins, fats, I change it my vegetables a lot, even though I love broccoli but if I eat too much because of the fibers in broccoli I get constipated so I change it up with green beans, zucchini, or any green vegetable! Carbs I will change it between complete carbs, and fat good fats! •
5). Love what you do, it’s a mental thing if you don’t love what you are doing you will fall short, you will quit or you will find an excuse! If you don’t love it learn to love it! It’s like any relationship to start getting to know each other and you learn to love each other! Prep with excitement and your food will turn out good enough for you to eat! Also remember we eat for fuel not for pleasure! •
