Taky už se mi to stalo
If all the people who have been sexually harassed or assaulted wrote "Me too" as a status, we might give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem.
CatCalling has been part of my life since I hit the puberty though I've never got used to it. I still hate when people whistle at me or shout at me some vulgar things about my body. No, I don't take those comments about my chest as a compliment. Mostly I just walk away and try not to think about it, sometimes it makes me physically sick.
Physical harassment has happened probably to every girl too. No, you can't touch a girl just because you want to, you can't spank her ass just because she's wearing the skirt. And don't you even dare to touch girls chest. (all of those happened to me countless times)
To be honest, I am lucky I forgot most of those incidents, yet I can't get over those two which happened to me last year.
When I was hitchhiking to Estonia, one driver in Lithuania drove away from the main road into the woods, started touching my knee and demanded sex from me...
While couchsurfing in Helsinki my host woke up in the middle of the night and started talking to me that he want to "cuddle up" and after an argue that I did not wish to interact with him, he reached to touch me anyway. However it was November, 4a.m, it was pitch black, -10C, 20cm of snow outside and I was in Helsinki suburb so I had to stay at his place till the morning... Yesterday I wrote this note on my FB even though I’ve been avoiding putting anything personal on my social media. However this topic touches me on so many levels that I needed to write it down...
