“2018, Year of the Cellulite” !
A drawing I did as a sticker to be sold as merch by the french fat activist organisation Gras Politique:

First of all, I’d like to thank you all for your tremendous support, your lovely comments and you overall appreciation of my work. It means a lot to me to be able to express myself on such personal topics as #fatshaming and #fatacceptance and get such a positive and enthusiastic response!
As to why I took some time away, well, I had kind of a burn-out. After creating/curating the @fatventcalendar plus my own content, I had very little time to rest before helping for a french fat activist event… so when my internet was cut right away afterwards I saw it as a blessing, to be honest. Two weeks of complete isolation in January. It is only now that I can have another go at drawing. That’s how it is when your brain doesn’t quite work like it should. You have to learn from your mistakes, and mine was to ignore my limits when it comes to discussing/producing about #fatphobia and burn the candle at both ends. This topic definitely requires more energy of me than regular illustration work. Because it affects me personally.
By the way, even though activism is dear to my heart, I should be upfront with you, new followers: it is not the only thing i draw about. But you probably figured that out from browsing my account already. I hope you enjoy the ride nevertheless. It’s going to be chock-full of silly creatures, various mental-health related cartoons and other things I have yet to decide.
Onwards to 2018 !
