Serving life, looks and knowledge. Your favourite upstream exploration expert. #TheOilandGasWhisperer

This is my favorite picture of you @gvence, being a PR badass and Nala butting in as usual. Because this is you literally every day, sans gin and tonic. Can't believe you left me behind in Central Africa for the bright lights of San Juan. I miss you Gin Gin, happy birthday Chaim Sheli 😘

When the filter matches your outfit. Conference ready in @loveladybiba

I'll be moderating a panel tomorrow, on Frontier Exploration in Africa, at the Africa Oil and Power Conference in Cape Town. Ahead of my session I gave an interview on how low oil prices are prompting indigenous companies to switch up their upstream investment strategies. Link in bio if anyone's interested πŸ™‚

Seeing as I'm a very busy unmarried woman over 30, with very little time on my hands to engage in distributing unsolicited advice to internet strangers, I didn't see the "pick me" post till really late, and by the time I could get my 2 cents in, comments had been turned off.
The picture above is the comment I tried to post but couldn't because comments had been disabled, and my conclusion is pretty much to do you.
Do whatever makes you happy; whether it's to marry, stay single, have kids, don't have kids, be a single mum, become a corporate monster, go on a trip and find yourself, get drunk on rooftop bars and dance with strangers, have sex, don't have sex, experiment, try to change the world...whatever the hell you want to do as a Nigerian woman, just do it.
Live your best life, be the real you, don't twist yourself into a pretzel to attract a man, someone will love your uncouth, fun loving ass just the way you are, and if they don't ✌🏾 30 is just that...30. It's not a death sentence, it's not some sort of finish line, it's nothing but a number.
Lastly, MARRIAGE IS NOT AN ACHIEVEMENT. I mean it's nice (so I've heard 😊), but it's not the most important thing you'll do in life. Being a well rounded, kind, responsible, open minded, rational, successful adult is so much more important and if you happen to meet the love of your life along the way...wonderful. But do not make the mistake of living your life participating in the husband Olympics, because you will regret it.

Emancipate yourself from mental slavery sisters.

Flew all the way to Geneva, just to end up eating steak and chips. Hello Switzerland πŸ‡¨πŸ‡

My last day in Singapore was filled with city tours, trishaw rides, Singapore Sling's, ice cream puffs, loco Latinas (hey @anamariaalpizar), and my new favourite kitsch neighbourhood #HajiLane. Work done for the week, adios Singapore ✈️ #NaijaNomads
