The Moor Otters are packing their bags and moving out of their host locations this weekend! It's been an otterly mad summer on Dartmoor and we've loved every second. Thank you to everyone who supported the project, from bidding online to simply taking a selfie with your favourite otter. Here are just a few of our wonderful Otter Spotters... And it's not over yet! 31 Golden Otters will be on view at Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood 29th-30th September. Early autumn colours on a Dartmoor mire - bog asphodel flower seed heads and bog moss Sphagnum subnitens

Join our knowledgeable Dartmoor National Park Rangers and Archaeologists as they uncover Bronze Age cairns around the Haytor area. This month we will be undertaking the prickly but rewarding job of gorse removal to reveal these fascinating sites. The work will take place on Sunday 10th September, starting at 10:30 and finishing at 3:30, at Haytor Visitor Centre. Please wear thick trousers and sturdy walking boots or comfy wellies. Tea and biscuits provided.
